« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « The Rusty Lantern is a spacious cabin with all the amenities and a wonderful view of the mountains of West Virginia. Everything is spotless and nothing has been overlooked. The appliances look brand new and the furnishings and decorative touches tell a story as well as being lovely to regard. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended. »

« The cabin is extremely well-appointed and immaculate. The only thing we wished we had was more time to enjoy it! All appliances are brand new, with plenty of hot water and the heating system kept up with the 20 degree weather without issue.The scenery is amazing and during our week-long stay we were visited by three deer a couple of times and at least 6 types of birds.
