after waiting 15 minutes to check-in (staff catering to future reservations) we finally got to room to complete some work and plan next leg of journey & “free wi-fi” was non-existent. i called front desk & was told they’d check into it & i could walk to the front desk to connect. Unresponsive, unfriendly (except for new gal Debbie check us in) i DO NOT recommend!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. The people in room above us let their kids run back and forth starting at 5:30 am. This kept us awake so earplugs might be helpful.

There were great walking paths nearby. It is by Noyo Beach which has great food. The room was okay, it was older but great for our trip.

The location of this was wonderful. Had a great view from the balcony over the harbor. Could walk down for dinner and wasn't too far from downtown district. Parking right outside. Room was very big and included a table and chairs, a couch and a chaise longue. Comfortable bed. Plenty of closet space. Really nice staff. Will definitely come again some time.

Front desk staff was very helpful. We had a balcony and a fireplace. Loved both. You could hear the seals barking from the balcony. Room was large and comfortable. Refrig was larger than the standard hotel room fridge.

It seems that the rooms in general are a little bit older, but the service is super nice and it is clean. The beds are comfortable and nicely done. The view is very nice as well.

Nice clean room. Great view of the harbor. Room was quiet. Don’t hear the other people next door. Need to replace coffee maker. K cup coffee are cheap. But overall great place.

I loved it here. I appreciate how nice the people were who checked us in and out. My mom and I had a lower level room with a view. Perfect! We enjoyed hearing the seals which once you closed the sliding door, you couldn’t hear them anymore. We will definitely be back!

I loved the location. You can walk or drive down the road to Noyo Harbor where there are multiple great restaurants to dine at. We got an upstairs room with a balcony and we’re able o see the seals on the docks below. Front desk check in guy was very friendly. Room was clean and plenty of parking. Recommend trying the Skunk Trail Railbikes about 1/2 mile away. Mendocino is close to.

While Harbor Lite Lodge was not opulent, our room was very comfortable, roomy, very clean and well appointed with every feature & amenity we needed, and all at a very reasonable price. The staff was attentive and friendly. We loved sitting on private balcony overlooking the wharf and hearing the sea lions. In the morning I noticed a few sets of gas station type paper towel dispensers & window cleaner squirt bottles around the parking lot for guests to use to clean their car windows before heading out for the day. We will return!

We appreciated the view from our second story room, we spent hours on our deck. For a short stay they do not provide room cleaning, but they did provide enough towels and tissues that we did not miss it!

The property is very cute and the room was nice, but our first night some walked down our hallway aggressively banging our door and someone next to ours at 2 am for about 20 minutes. It was pretty scary honestly. When asked what happened we’re told by staff someone had the wrong hotel and proceeded to read the email they got from the night staff. Wish more action was taken and perhaps an apology, but I suppose not the staffs fault.

Unfortunately the room we stayed in was not worth the $180/night price tag. The door, walls and ceiling were paper thin and sound traveled right through them. The carpet was stained, and just looked very dirty. To be fair I kept white socks on during the stay and they did not get too dirty, but appearances are everything. The bathroom was tiny and the bathtub was not clean. There were a few unidentifiable pieces of debris and when I added some water to the tub a few more came up from the drain resulting in several UFOs -unidentifiable floating objects. The worst part was that someone in the room above us came in at 11pm and for the next hour and a half walked around, dragged furniture, had their tv on very loud and made a whole lot of noise, and I don't even think they were being especially rambunctious it's just that the hotel does not have the proper design, build and insulation to muffle the sound that a higher quality hotel typically has. Finally, I knew that our room did not come with a view of the harbor, but the section of hotel we stayed in seemed like an after thought or perhaps a building that was acquired after the original hotel was built and cheaply thrown together to have additional toons. Our balcony was about ten feet from the back side gas station and a partial chain link fence with weeds and scrub brushes growing along it. It just made the general aesthetic of the place feel cheap, not private and potentially unsafe.
