'The staff was very accommodating and breakfast was well worth it. The room was clean except for mold in the bottom of the shower which is unfortunate. Nice, quiet area within walking distance of downtown.'

'Goedkoop, maar betaal liever die paar pond extra de volgende keer voor een goed hotel. De slechtste op onze rondreis door Schotland tot nu toe. Veel lawaai van gasten in de pub onder onze kamer tot ruim half 1, 1 uur snachts. Het bed lag zo oncomfortabel dat we op het dekbed zijn gaan liggen om de vering niet te voelen. Kamer is niet donker, doordat de gordijnen maar tot halverwege komt.'

'Room clean and comfortable,bathroom was shared and was not cleaned daily. Ran out of toilet roll on first night not staff around to ask for more. General upkeep of building was poor and needs updating. Looked like something from a horror movie on arrival and did think about leaving.'

'We didn't see a soul. Check in was using a safe box to collect the key. Check out was dropping the key into a safe box. Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed.'

'The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side.
