The place was big enough and nice. However, the air would not go down below 68 and during the day when it was hot, the house would get hot and would take a long time to cool off. The floors had not been cleaned. The ice maker in the door of the fridge didn't work, the dishwasher messed up, but the major thing was that the internet was not working and could not be fixed. I had small kids that could not watch TV, but more importanly, I was needing to work and tried to work from my phone hot spot, but that wasn't easy.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family of 5! It was very spacious, everyone had their own space and the pool was perfect! We arrived a little earlier than expected and the host was very accommodating to let us check in a little early! We will definitely book this house again in the future!

Awesome time in Gulf Shores

We had a great time. The house was great, it had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the pool and used it when it was too hot for the beach. The place was clean when we checked in. There were some minor issues we reported and were taken care of. Here are some things we recommend to improve for future guests. Upgrade the charcoal grill to a gas grill for easy use and clean. Upgrade the faucets in the bathrooms because they were hard to turn on/off - too tight, upgrade shower heads also. We noticed the water pressure in the kitchen sink was low. Reconnect the lint air duct pipe on the clothing dryer, it was loose. Finish fixing the toilet seat in the master bathroom, a maintenance person mentioned that it was on the list to fix but wasn't done. Extra pillows and blankets for the extra pull-out beds for extra guests, we saw sheets for them but no pillows or blankets. These were some things we noticed for improvement. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay. Nice and quiet off the main street, easy drive to everything, management was very responsive and accommodated. We highly recommend it to our friends and family and would love to come back again soon. Thank you for a great time!

Overall stay

The overall stay was great. The only complaint we have is the tvs. All the tvs only had a couple channels which werent watchable channels. The one tv where the bunk beds were didnt work for the kids. Theres no cable or no local channels. Especially for the little kids to watch. One of the bedrooms door hinges screws came off the day we got there.

Disappointing this year!

We stayed here last year and enjoyed our stay, unfortunately this year the property wasn’t prepared on time and the property isn’t being maintained well. The grass was never mowed so the front yard was over knee high. The sand area hasn’t been weeded and is becoming overgrown. A cabinet door was broken, a bedroom door was being held on by one hinge (the property manager did send someone and they fixed them). The pool was an off green color with lots of sand in it. The property manager sent some one and cleared the color of the pool. Someone left lots of odds and ends in the sand area when I shared this with the property manager she said we were welcome to use but I find this odd as they were all over the place and some of the items were disgusting. The beach volleyball area has become over grown and no longer has a net. We love VRBO but there are better options in the Gulf Shores area.

Nice large home for a big family

We rented this as a place for a multi generational vacation. The home was more then roomy for 11 people. You must like cats as a sweet neighbor cat came to visit us and we just loved it. If we return to Gulf Shores with our large group again we will try and book this home again.

Great house in a good location

The house was great and close to many attractions. Only a short drive to a beautiful beach. House was well furnished with TONS of space. Each person had their own bed which made for more rested days. The pool was great for when we weren't at the beach. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our Alabama stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Foley AL. This house had plenty of room. The inside matches the pictures and description. Ample room for our group of eight. The pool was warm and we were glad we had it as the weather was unseasonably cold and beach time was limited. The only few items that prevented an additional star were the sand area in the back and the old beach items scattered around the pool deck. The pictures do not match both areas. The sand was a mess and very unclean. There were so many broken pool toys left and scattered. We were grateful we brought our own. Both need to be cleaned up. As stated in another post. There was not a regular coffee pot. Two Kuerigs and a 40 cup percolator. We ended up having to buy the pods and bring the ground coffee home with us. Otherwise we enjoyed our family time and would recommend this area and the beaches for sure.

Everything was nice. Little to far away from the beach. Only had a 40 cup coffee pot , or KCUPS, needs a 10 cup coffee pot. Had to go buy one for the week.

Beautiful house, but small issues

It was an American embarrassment the the flag on the flagpole was in shreds. The grill wasn't cleaned. Was told to bring coffee filters but was only for k cups. Only can watch dvds in all bedrooms. Remote control missing in one room.

Amazing property

This was a beautiful home for our family to vacation! The pictures of the home are completely accurate! The pool was very clean and a great addition to our stay! The rental property was also very easy to deal with and answered all questions immediately! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Alabama Vacation Rental

This home was close to the beaches, restaurants and activities but on a quiet , safe street away from the crowds. Very clean home. Management was courteous and very quick to respond to all questions and concerns.

What a treat!

Four seniors and two dogs enjoyed the spotlessly clean spacious house! While the house is clearly set up to accommodate larger groups it was fun that on vaca our only big decisions were to choose what chair, sofa, bedroom, sun, shade to relax in! The pool was well worth the add-on and for the most part the heater kept up with what seemed like unusually cold weather. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but everything is available with a short drive. As noted in the listing be prepared to take a shopping trip for paper products and toiletries as the basics to get started are provided. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked indoors a lot during our stay. Highly recommend multiple trips to Blalock Seafood. The property management was very easy to work with and I can't say enough good things about the cleaning crew. The house was SPOTLESS when we arrived which is amazing considering the backyard 'beach' just finds it's way in. Truly a relaxing vacation! Thank You Happy Ours!

Great property, great experience

It was so hard to leave! My family and I visited so that I could attend my graduation. The amenities were great, the property was beautiful and wonderfully maintained. There were plenty of linens and towels available. I paid for the heated pool option and when initially it was not turned on, but when I reached out, they responded immediately and reimbursed me for the days that the heated pool was not on. Overall it was a great experience.
