Stupendo !

Fantastic location, close to main attractions in Firenze. The loft is stunning. Awesome coffered ceiling. A charming property for a wonderful experience. Appreciated air cooling. One point : invisible owner and not very welcoming guy in the shop. Everything else perfect.

The loft was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Near the bathroom there is a washing machine with soap ready to be used. Pietro and Gaia were kind and helped us solve an electricity issue.

Loved our stay!

We are a family of four, with two boys, ages nine and 10. We absolutely loved this apartment, couldn’t get over looking at the beautiful ceiling. The living area was very spacious. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the main train station, and an easy walk to Ponte Vecchio, Duomo and many fabulous restaurants and high end shops. On the street just behind the apartment and connected to the apartment building is a wonderful restaurant called Parione-would definitely recommend a meal in the basement wine cellar.

Fabulous property

Amazing place to stay, even better than the pictures suggest. Great location to explore Florence and at the end of the day, it was great to have somewhere special to chill. Forgot any negative comments about the staircase, it added to the charm and character. Waking up each morning under that ceiling was very special.

Wonderful location, the property is beautiful, and the owners were extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Florence. The wifi for the keyless entry had its moments and the staircase to the apartment is challenging with luggage. In sum our stay exceeded expectations.

Great location

The location for this flat could not be better. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. There are over 30 steps leading to the property so it’s a pain if you have a lot of luggage like we did. The air conditioning wasn’t great but Florence was having record heat. The hot water in the bathroom also didn’t work but we didn’t realize until the day after we checked in and it was late at night. A cold shower was actually refreshing. I’m sure these are easy fixes and we would stay here again…maybe just with a little less luggage.

Amazing Loft In Heart of Florence

Loved this property. Very open and spacious with bedroom upstairs in loft area with huge closet and a desk. Downstairs has queen size fold out in living room with a total of 3 comfortable sofas (including fold out). You are literally steps away from the river, the Duomo, world class shopping and the best of Florence. The dinning room table was so large you almost want to host a dinner party at this hip and inviting space. This will be our go to anytime we are in Florence. I highly recommend the restaurants they suggest on their things to do flip chart. All were amazing.

Unique and so special!

Couldn't have loved our stay at this fabulous apartment more! The stairs from the loft are noisy- but part of the charm. If you have light sleepers- late night bathroom visits could be a disruption. However, in a city of small apartments, this large, special unit is fantastic! And, the AC was great!

Perfect location, creaky stairs.

Overall the apartment is great, and I would stay there again. However the stairs to get to the loft are old and creaky. My wife ended up sleeping on the couch because she was afraid to go up and down. I weigh two times what she weighs and enjoyed an empty king bed. Overall it is a minor issue but the stairs probably should be replaced.

A palatial Florentine pied a terre

If you're looking for a spacious apartment, footsteps away from the Arno and a short walk to every major attraction in Florence, but not too close to the noise and chaos, this is it. The true charm, however, of this historical walk-up is in its gilt and cobalt coffered ceilings, towering windows, inviting banquet table as well as its spare and authentic decor, all of which contribute to making you feel as if you've plunged back in history to lead the life of a medieval aristocrat. And what was, perhaps, the best part of this apartment during a raging continental heatwave, THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS EXCEPTIONAL, and provided an oasis of cool every time we returned from a day of marathon walking and inter city travelling. The kitchen was fully equipped, as was the bathroom, which doesn't have a bath but a new and modern shower. And the bed in the master loft was one of the most comfortable in which I've ever slept. My only caveat for travelers who are travelling with light sleepers is that the surprisingly strong wooden spiral staircase up to the master loft is very creaky and loud as you descend into the cavernous space, so plan your late night trips to the toilet accordingly. Perhaps our biggest regret after staying in this almost regal space was not having arrived with a group of friends, with whom we could have cooked a simple dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, and shared it with some wine and candles at the banquet table in the centre of the loft, under the glow of those gorgeous lofty romanesque windows. Sigh. Our host was absolutely exceptional, so gracious and warm, and even with the time difference in North America she managed to respond to every one of our inquiries right away. We were also surprised by how easy the check in was. Overall, we had an outstanding experience and most definitely want to return to our palatial pied a Terre in the heart of Florence.

Prime Florence location and very large room

We stayed for 4 nights here. Great location, walk to all the main Florence attractions in 10 minutes or less. Half a block to the river. The place is very large but the loft arrangement makes it best for a couple or a family as if there are more than 2 people they will sleep on a pull out couch. The ceiling is beautiful! The street can be a bit noisy but at night quiets down a lot. The spiral staircase is very creaky which always woke up our kids sleeping down below. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Loft was huge and easily could hold 6 people, we were only 3. Kitchen had pretty much everything to Cook with, including oils and spices which was really nice. There is even a dishwasher in a large refrigerator. Conveniently located by the bridge and a bunch of restaurants and gelato shops. Also a short walk from the train, about 10 minutes. Easy communication with the owner and check in at his store is half a block away. Just know there is a spiral staircase to get upstairs, as in the pictures, which may not be for everyone. Would stay there again.

Perfect location in great city

My wife and I spend 5 days in Florence and this unit was perfect. Gaia answered all of our questions and was very helpful. The apartment has more space than you would ever need. Centrally located to everything you could want to see in Florence. Easiest checkin process I’ve had before. Highly recommend.

Fantastic!!!

What a treat!!! Our stay was fantastic....the apartment is plenty big enough to stretch out in, the kitchen is perfect, we even cooked a few meals! It was very clean! The location was perfect!! Perfect!! Perfect!!! As it says in description, it is on first floor (in the US, we consider this to be 2nd floor) so be prepared for stairs to the apartment!! And the wood spiral stairs up to the loft once inside are a bit loud and feel rickety but are very secure!!! Stefano (local point of contact) was a huge help and Gaia was easy to access via phone to answer any questions!! Again, It was perfect!!! We were disappointed to have to leave!!! Thank you all!!

Elegante dimora classica, di tradizione e di lusso al tempo stesso. Nel cuore della Firenze dell' alta moda. C'è da lustrarsi gli occhi per ogni dettaglio di questo loft, molto spazioso e su due livelli, allocato al primo piano di un palazzo d'epoca, dalle cui finestre senti vivere l'elegante quartiere. Armoniosamente soppalcato, risaltano le volte in rilievo, nonché funzionalità e comodità impareggiabili. Gli ospiti, Pietro e Gaia, incarnano famiglia e valori d'altri tempi... evento più unico che raro oggigiorno. A presto rivederci
