The owners of this property are the charm of this spot! Lovely personable couple who go out of their way to greet and get to know you. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious! The children loved the hot tub!

This family-run guesthouse is delightful. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the family is friendly and gracious, and the setting is idyllic. It is close to a town that has stores and restaurants, but the guesthouse has plenty to do (puzzles, games, musical instruments, BOOKS). Lovely people, lovely place.

This was one of my favorite stays during our ring road travel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We did a 2 hour horseback ride that was amazing followed by some homemade pancakes with coffee and tea. I cannot recommend this guest house enough. We had a great time at this stay and enjoyed all the stories that were told. A+ place and A++ staff.

Fantastic stay!
A farm run by two wonderful hosts. They are very informative and kind, offering a delightful breakfast with some Icelandic variations on their food.

Perfect B&B farm stay (with horses!)
We absolutely loved our time with Doddi and his wife at their guesthouse, and it has quickly become a highlight of our trip! The room was comfortable & quiet, and breakfast was, without a doubt, our best so far in Iceland (the homemade bread biscuits with homemade jams are AMAZING!). But the highlight of our stay was getting to meet our hosts -- wonderful, friendly, welcoming people who went far above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic (including giving us helpful information and history about the local area). We opted to ride their amazing Icelandic horses as part of our Eventful Globe YouTube channel, and it was a wonderful experience – check out our video to learn more! These are unique and incredible animals, and the cliffs, rivers, and countryside near Skorrahestar make for the perfect location. Thank you to our great hosts! We hope to return soon!
