'On Hwy 2, just a few minutes from Leavenworth, next to a cute restaurant/bar and near Lake Wenatchee is Squirrel Tree resort. Newly renovated, there are six units with views of the trees. There are earplugs if the highway noise is too loud. The beds are comfortable and the amenities are nice. The rooms are basic, but clean and rustic. Check-in at the restaurant. 'The house was great, the extra charges were a bit inane- extra fees for people, extra fees for the hottub, extra fee for the host and the cleaning, it doubled the price of the stay. It is listed as a 3 bedroom 2 bath and it was 3 bedroom but only 1 bath for 6 people……. The reason we chose the house was for the second bath and the hot tub ($25 fee for there being a hot tub as if it would just be removed if we didn’t want to pay the extra for it) needs a correct listing and to just lump the fees...
