The Moose property is ideal for large families and varied age groups.We had 10 grandchildren and 9 adults. The house has something for everyone: playroom for the littles, movie theater for all, a garage filled with foosball, bags game, ping pong, huge connect four game, and riding toys for littles.pickleball on the drive. The basketball court was used for games and musical productions from the grands.The neighborhood pool and beach were easily accessible too.The house was nicely set up with ample seating for dining and areas to relax. Bedrooms were well portioned and bedding was comfortable. If you come, be ready to enjoy your time, the view of Bear Lake, and have fun in Garden City or Montepelier.

The Moose is a great place to stay. It accommodated our large family reunion perfectly. There is something for everyone. The views from the home are amazing for those that don’t want to be on the lake and for those that do, the lake access is not far away. The hosts were amazing and we would love to stay here again!

Superb time at "The Moose"

This property is luxurious and spotless. The many amenities were even surprising--a garage just for kids to play in complete with toys--a state-of-the-art home theater, incredible views of Bear Lake, full accommodations for all of our big family. We loved it and would stay there again anytime.

Couldn't have been better

Staying at the Moose was such a positive experience. There were so many fun things to do. Our grandchildren loved the inside basketball court and theater room. The picket ball in the driveway was also a lot of fun for the adults. We enjoyed the beautiful deck. We had a wonderful time together in a lovely and accommodating place.

Perfect Family Reunion Destination

We had the best time. Location was great, with amazing views. Plenty of space for everyone to have privacy and great activities for everyone to stay entertained. We loved having a movie night in the theater with state of the art equipment and easy to follow instructions and instructional videos from the hosts.Communication was great from the host and the property was clean and very well cared for.

Our stay at the Moose was exceptional. Everyone in our group, ranging in age from 2 to 82, had an enjoyable time. There were activities available for all from pickleball (which was the favorite), to movies in the Theatre Room, basketball, giant Connect Four, ping pong, foosball, cornhole, puzzles, rocks for climbing, toys for the little ones and the community pools. We never heard “I’m bored” from anyone. The girl cousins had fun sleeping in the bunk bedroom all together. All the adult couples enjoyed their own bedroom (four with King size beds and adjacent bathrooms). The kitchen provided everything we need. The extra refrigerator, in the garage, came in handy for our group of 24. There was ample room for everyone to sit to eat at tables utilizing the kitchen table and chairs, as well as the picnic tables, and patio tables and chairs on the deck. The view of the lake was beautiful. The comment was made, “What is Aunt Carol going to book next year to top this place?”

Beautiful Cabin!

We loved out stay here. VERY clean and host is super helpful and friendly. The kids loved the bunk room, play area and sports court. Very well stocked and we had everything we needed! The view of Bear Lake is incredible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Family Reunion at Bear Lake

This beautiful vacation home exceeded our expectations on every level. It is surrounded by spectacular scenery and views, and is the perfect retreat. The beautiful and well stocked kitchen made cooking for our large family a pleasure. The only challenge the kids had was finding enough time to enjoy every game and activity that was available for them-- corn hole, basketball, home theatre, fooseball,ping pong, swimming, hiking, pickleball, biking and that's just what's available at the house and in the gated community. Garden City also offered lots of fun activities from great eating, rodeo to a musical theater that was exceptional. Keith and Marianne were thoughtful hosts who communicated with us and made everything easy and a great pleasure. I can't recommend staying at The Moose highly eough!

Amazing Bear Lake cabin

Absolutely beautiful and fun cabin. We had our family reunion at this cabin and it was wonderful. We had 26 people with ages between 18 months to adults. Our kids had a blast and had so many things to do especially when we had one rainy day. The theatre was great a long with the indoor gym. Communication with owners was excellent and very prompt. We would love to stay here again.

The best family gathering place at bear lake

Of all of the Bear Lake rentals that we've stayed at, The Moose is by far the best. Kids loved the basketball court, ping pong, theater room and we did a different puzzle every day. Host was very responsive and helpful. We'll be back next year!

Beautiful Home With Spectacular Views

The place is very well appointed, with top of the line kitchen appliances, a super and large media room, an indoor basketball half-court, large decks for eating or relaxing, and so many amenities. We had a family group of 26 and never felt overcrowded. The owner even had a small welcoming gift, which our teenagers immediately devoured. Large driveway, indoor garages filled with table tennis, foosball, basketball shoot, cornhole and more. Community pools. Would love to stay there again!

The Place for Family Memories

If you are interested in having a large family gathering, The Moose is the property for you. We celebrated my in-law's 50th anniversary here with a range of kids and adults. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us, and there were so many things to do. The kids did not turn on a TV once, but we did take advantage of the movie theater room. Between the activities at the house, the pool and amenities in the HOA, and the lake, I did not hear one kid say they were bored the entire time. I think the only thing I wish we had done differently was plan for a longer trip. The owners were great at communicating before and during the stay. They answered questions promptly and resolved any concerns. We are already planning our return trip next year.

We loved our stay at "The Moose!"

"The Moose" was the perfect location for our family reunion! The view was beautiful! Most of the bedrooms have their own bathroom which was so nice for couples to have their own space. The beds were comfortable. The younger kids loved the playroom while the older kids loved the theatre room and indoor basketball court. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the evenings. There was plenty of parking for several cars, easy to get in and out of. Our hosts were wonderful & easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back and stay here again!
