Filey bliss
On the whole we loved this cottage- location,amenities everything we needed. The shower wasn't very powerful and only had large overhead - would prefer lower moveable hose and the bathroom fan went on for ages whichwas frustratingin the night. Struggled to open the key safe- and although we have stayed in and around filey on numerous occasions it was the first time we had stayed at the Bay and we couldn't find welcome pack with details about amenities- shop opening times etc.

Hi Joy Thanks for your revies, really pleased that you enjoyed yourselves, sorry that you there wasn't a moveable hose on the shower. Next time you stay, you may notice a large switch over the bathroom door marked "fan on/off" - many guests turn that switch to off in the night to stop the fan, which lasts ten minutes and comes on automatically when the light is switched on. If you check your emails, you will see that I send out electronic versions of the welcome pack with a full set of instructions and all local details - they are on google drive for all guests to access several days before their stay. Storing the welcome pack and instructions this way makes them much easier to update and access. Hope that helps, look forwards to hearing from you again soon.

Brilliant holiday village
Loved the setting, close to the beach, holiday village is brilliant with everything you could ask for and not too far from Scarborough if you fancy a visit . Beds at the house were really uncomfortable but other than that the stay was great and Nigel the host could not have done more for us.

Fabulous Corrage!
We stayed at Beachcomber Cortage for a post Christmas break with our 2 grown up children and our little puppy. The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean throughout with all the facilities you couple possibly need. The added surprise of the Christmas tree made our stay feel more personal and we loved the little touch of the welcome pack. We will definitely be staying again!!

Beachcomber cottage
Originally booked for one night but stayed for two. Property was very home from home and nice and warm. I especially enjoyed using the large bath to have a soak in. Close to all amenities with being nearer bottom of estate and less than 19 min walk to beach. Close to Bridlington Scarborough and flamborough all worth a visit especially flambrough I got to see the seals. Would definitely return. Staff in local pub were very helpful and food was good. Nigel the host very helpful. Thanks for a great break just what we needed.

Spacious, nicely furnished property. The boys loved the outside spaces and the swimming pool. The park is nicely set out, but the gardens need the weeds removed and generally tidied up. Good location, if you can manage the climb back up from the beach!

Comfortable property in a good position. Everything you need for a stay by the sea. Easy access to facilities and the beach. Loved the setting, only negative being the small size of the on site swimming pool and poor condition of football pitch. We hopefully will be staying again.

The property has everything you need from clean bedding and towels, cooking implements, wash facilities, games for the kids and a short distance to the beach. Everything at you're finger tips. Alongside the property you have access to the leisure facilities at no extra cost and the cleanliness of the site is fab.

We enjoyed our recent stay. Property was very smartly presented and clean. We were there with our 3 year old grandson who enjoyed cycling around the site . Easy access to the beach and we found the little playground on our last morning there Considering booking again for next year , now we know the accommodation is high standard

We had a lovely family weekend away at the cottage. Everything was clean and perfectly set up for what we needed with 2 young children. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and also made the most of the great facilities on offer like the pool and pub. Would definitely recommend!

Last minute, short break…..
The cottage exceeded expectations and was bigger than the photographs perceived. Very clean with everything you need for that ‘home from home’ experience. Fantastic facilities on site and only 5 minutes walk onto the beach! Nigel was extremely helpful with all queries we had prior to booking - would definitely stay again if we returned to Filey I can imagine it’s even better in warmer weather ! Thank you 😊

Absolutely beautiful little place.
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was really clean, love the interior decor, and the little finishing touches. I love how they had everything in the cottage suitable for children. Absolutely loved having the pool within walking distance of the cottage we spent many hours in the swimming pool. We are definitely staying again we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for your hospitality and for both being great hosts.

This property had everything we needed for a short break. It was warm and cosy with all the home comforts. The bed was so comfy, I was able to really relax before Christmas. We didn't want to leave! Will definitely be coming back.

Fab weekend
We would highly recommend this beautiful house. It was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and fluffy towels. It had everything you need including 2 little welcome packs 1 with cleaning products and the other with biscuits, milk sachets etc. The pool, pub were a 5 min walk away and the beach is a 10 min walk. If you’d like to swim, do archery etc you’ll need to book these online before you visit. We will be back. 😀
