"About 15 min walk from the old town. Friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast. DJ with loud music in the pool area starting round 17.00hr is not so nice. Comfortable rooms and enough space in the bathroom."

"This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel might be just perfect without a fifth star - I wouldn't want the extremely reasonable prices to go up :)"

"Het personeel was super behulpzaam. De faciliteiten binnen het hotel waren prima en de ontbijt was zeer goed geregeld. De inrichting van de kamers was wel stil gestaan in de tijd maar heel schoon."

"The hotel is great. The view is perfect, rooms are clean, breakfast is very good and a lot of choices are available. In the vicinity, the town is quite a long walk without street lights in the night, and the curbs are very dirty so you cannot go out to eat without a car - but then you cannot have a wine so that limits your dinner options to just the restaurant which is quite expensive. Also, we booked this accommodation specifically for the swimming pool, which was very dirty and shut down the second day we were there. Upon request, the staff indicated that we could swim in the sea, wich is true but not why we booked this place. So all in all mixed feelings, loved the hotel but we would have liked to know that the swimming pool wouldn’t be available as supposed to what was advertised."
