Riads in Fès

'Be prepared: the riad is in the middle of the Medina with LOTS of winding roads and dead ends. Even with a map you will likely get lost. It also means taxis cannot get to the riad. High pressure to buy dinner as soon as I arrived that turned me off and then again for a tour even though I said I had one booked. No front door key provided so had to knock/ring to get in. 'Fijn klein Riad. Minizwembadje, maar voldoende om even op te frissen. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en hartelijke ontvangst. Behulpzaam. Lekker ontbijt. Ook optie om te dineren. In de buurt vele mogelijkheden om uit eten te gaan. Na de drukke oude stad fijn om rustig in deze Riad te verblijven. '

'SUPER!!!! It was fantastic to start our round-trip in Morocco in such an AMAZING Riad. Very nicely designed and decorated and a very, very beautiful, cosy and luxury room (topaz room). It's clear that the owners have spent a lot of effort to create this. Everything we wanted was there, including fresh fruits in our room.
