'It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...

'This was the perfect home away from home to enjoy drives to the historic Champagne region. Close to Reims, Epernay, Hautvillier and numerous little villages in between to experience delicious champagne. Even one down the street. Well stocked kitchen for cooking our dinners. Used the washing machine mid our 15-day trip. '

'We spent a lovely week in this nice cottage in the middle of vineyards of the Champagne. We enjoyed the quiet evenings with only the birdsongs of various species and hardly any car passing by. The views from the cottage are stunning. The cottage itself is wel equipped, the beds are made when you arrive and really nice chairs on the terrace.Good location for visits of Champagne houses in the surrounding villages. '

'This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....
