« Our stay at Lafayette Flats was great! Amy and Shawn were wonderful hosts. « The love and labor Amy and Shawn poured in to renovating this building shows in every aspect from the comfort of the furnishings to the obvious support they have for local artists. They provide thorough information on local restaurants and things to do in the area. We stayed in the Quinnimont. Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with a great shower, everything is perfect. Enjoyed walking to the local coffee shops each morning and ending our day of hiking by easily walking to the restaurants....

« A great alternative to a hotel room. It’s small, but has all the conveniences you need. The bed was comfy; AC/Heating unit (we used both) worked great; plenty of hot water. Easy check-out. It’s situated at the back of a property where deer come to feed on chestnuts. We watched one deer family for probably hour one evening. True delight. »

« Excellent little apartment. It's small, but comfortable and well laid out. Space was clean, had great light, and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was not huge, but well set up, and had everything you'd need for cooking and brewing coffee. Lots of charming details: books, info about WV, a few games etc. Justin was responsive and setup of VRBO was thoughtful. I wasn't sure how a basement apartment would feel, but it was very cozy and cute. Very convenient to highway, restaurants, and grocery stores....
