This air-conditioned home is perfectly situated for beach-goers, as it sits a quarter-mile east of the very family friendly Wood Neck Beach. You can also hop on your bike to reach Chapoquoit Beach (three miles north), Falmouth Heights Beach (four miles southeast), and Old Silver Beach (five miles north). Downtown Falmouth has some of the Cape's best options for dining and entertainment, and the town of Woods Hole offers museums and many other attractions four miles south!

Extended Family in town for a wedding weekend

I rented the Happy Place so my parents, brothers and their families, and my family could stay together while on the cape for a wedding. It was very family friendly and plenty of space. Kitchen is great, plenty of utensils and dishes. Management was very responsive leading up to the trip (I did not need to contact them during). The only minor issue was the garbage and recycling receptacles outside were already totally full from prior visits, so it was a little tricky to dispose of ours.

Great family spot!

This is a beautiful house with tons of living areas to enjoy. The location is wonderful and all was as described. I wish I could give it a 4.5 review, but that isn’t an option. There are only a couple of minor details as to why I didn’t rate the house a 5. Overall, I would highly recommend. We had a great week.

Perfect for our family

The house was perfect for our extended family with 2 toddlers and 2 babies! The house was spacious, had plenty of bathrooms, and so many extras for the kids! The closer access to Wood Neck Beach was a highlight as well!

Lovely Home, Terrible Property Management

We stayed at this lovely home in February due to a family emergency. The house itself was great, however communication with property management was subpar. We did not receive check in information until an hour before we checked in, and only after we called for assistance. In addition, the driveway was indistinguishable as it had not been plowed. We reached out to the property managers for assistance and after two days they finally responded to us and informed us that snow accumulation is our responsibility to shovel. We reiterated we weren't referencing snow that accumulated after our arrival, but prior to our arrival. It took another two days for property management to respond but we had already checked out.

Very Comfortable House

Large comfortable house with deck and big backyard. Ten minute walk to Woodneck beach (our favorite Falmouth beach). Kitchen accommodates family meals and multiple sitting areas on different levels works really well for different group activities.

Lovely stay to kick off the holidays

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, had everything we needed (and more!), had clear instructions, and was in a very convenient location (equidistant between our two locations. We were traveling with two five year olds and a three year old. We all enjoyed the games and puzzles that were left out for our use, and the kids loved the bunk room. Thank you for hosting us!

Great Location & Property

The property was just as described and was a wonderful place to have a family vacation. Beautifully set up and decorated, homey space and open floor plan to children to play. The backyard proved to be a good hang around spot & the front yard had space for the kids to run around and play tag. Overall would book this house again if we ever decided to go to Falmouth again.

Fun 50th Anniversary!

Overall it was great. OTOH there was no water or spares in the water machine when we got there, broiler didn’t work and the lights in the range hood didn’t work. The first morning we discovered the coffee carafe was broken, not sure if we did it, but we replaced it for $17.

My friends and I had a great time staying here. It was spacious and comfortable.

Very satisfied with our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of space and had a great time. Perfect place to hang out with a group of friends after a round of golf or a visit to the beach.

Great house with not-so-great management company

We really enjoyed the location of the house with a short walk to a nice beach, the cleanliness, the two comfortable gathering areas, and the comfortable beds. We were gathering for Thanksgiving with eleven people, and appreciated the availability of a turkey roasting pan and a baster! Unfortunately, we had two frustrating maintenance issues while we were there and the communication with the management company was not great and affected our ability to relax. The biggest issue was that the dishwasher was broken. I had read in a previous review from a few months ago that the dishwasher was not working, so I wrote to the company specifically to ask if the dishwasher was now working. I was assured that the problem had been addressed. Apparently the local team of the management company was aware that the dishwasher was currently not working and asked customer service to let us know ahead of time but we received no such notification. It was a bummer not to have a dishwasher at Thanksgiving with eleven people, and an even bigger bummer not to know it was broken until after we tried repeatedly to figure it out! They agreed to a small refund to compensate for the broken dishwasher, but honestly we wouldn't have booked a place for Thanksgiving for eleven with no dishwasher.

Overall the house and location were great. There were some maintenance issues we brought to the management company attention and nothing was done. The one tub in the house would not drain and this was needed to bathe a toddler. The dishwasher did not work which was somewhat of an inconvenience as there was no drying rack and not enough dish towels.

Disappointing to have glitches checking in. Most concerning was no power in most of kitchen. Our group had to resolve, circuit breakers were tripped. No power to stove, microwave etc could easily have been identified as a final check before our arrival. Also, house was unlocked and trouble with lockbox that was not easily resolved.

The house was lovely and as described. The cleanliness was so so. Bathrooms clean, kitchen some trash left behind and areas were sandy and not that clean. What bothered us most was that supplies were very skimpy. Very little toilet paper(and there were only 5 of us), no trash can liners for kitchen, no shampoo, and only 2 bathrooms had soap. No soap in kitchen. We spoke with vacasa and emailed multiple times. Nobody followed up or called us. Otherwise very sweet house in very nice location.
