It did its purpose!
The inside was better than the outside. The yard needs immediate attention. Listing states plenty of room for parking but the grass was so high you could not see where to park. Upon opening the door to go in, massive cop webs and dust in the door jam. My husband had to get a broom to knock it down. I was just very disappointed. We paid way over price and with that expected so much more.Kitchen wasn't stocked with the usual things we are used too. Like a pizza pan and a working can opener. The top oven didn't work. I had my son run to the store to get the things we needed. I know that sounds like I'm just picking but every other house we have stayed at from Oklahoma to Florida the houses have been stocked with just basic things. We always grill out and the grill was so disgusting. We had to majorly clean it before we even used it. The photos show how bright and lit up the backyard was, well half the lights were burnt out. I will say the beds were comfortable and that is important. Overall the house did its job of giving us a place to lay our heads at night but that's about it. I mentioned all this to the VRBO contact and he was polite and stated "the cleaner usually takes care of those things". Do they mow the yard, change light bulbs, stock a kitchen, clean a grill. I didn't want to write a review like this but this is what I look for when booking places to stay so I would want to know. Update and clean up and it would be a nice place to stay.
