Easy, Beautiful Stay

The house was GORGEOUS and had everything we need - including a high chair for our little baby boy! The neighborhood was gorgeous - we took a little walk around each morning. The deck was great and the views were fabulous. Check in was easy and communication with host was great.

Great Views & Location

Our family enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. We needed to communicate with the host and they were quick to respond. My only criticism is that the electronics (tv/sound system etc.) were dated. We were out all day and too tired from hiking to do much in the evenings but if you're a movie or gaming family that may be important to you.

Great property and location

Beautiful home with great views! We stayed over Labor Day weekend with my wife and 1 year old. We were impressed with the property and especially the views. We were glad to find a high chair and kid friendly items on the property. Highly recommend!

Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ages 4-9) had an impromptu Thanksgiving here and it was cozy and wonderful! The views are breathtaking and the house is beautiful. The bed frames/mattresses could use an upgrade, but everything else was great!

Another great stay at SkyView

This is our second stay at SkyView and it was wonderful as always. We love the location, the views, the deck and the house itself. Well stocked with essentials, very comfortable. Easy access to town, park entrances, Longs Peak area, etc. We saw lots of wildlife in the neighborhood including elk and deer. We’re already looking forward to our next stay and would love to spend more time at SkyView.

Lovely home with amazing view. Great location for visiting RMNP. Supplies at this home were very minimal. No basics in the kitchen, such as hand soap, foil, one packet of coffee for coffee maker, no storage bags. One roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom, several notes throughout the home printed in caps of what not to do doesn’t feel very welcoming, checkout at 10 am. Just want others to know what to expect.

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 had an amazing, albeit short, stay at this property. The house was spacious, offered fantastic views, was located conveniently close to town, and had an authentic, comfortable, rustic feel perfect for a mountain home. Our kids affectionately referred to it as the "cabin" and loved exploring every inch of it. Overall, it was perfect for our stay in Estes Park - thank you!

Great location

Great house for families. Easy access to town and national park without being on a main drag. Great sunset and sunrise views and excellent porch. Only concern is with younger kids or adults with mobility issues, stairs may be a little steep for them. Would stay here again.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay! Location of the house makes it easy to get to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park. Great views from the living room. Would have loved it if those big windows could open so we could enjoy the cross breeze. However, it was really nice to sit out on the deck in the open air. Property managers were responsive and very nice to work with.

Adequate Property

This property was adequate for our stay. We've stayed in a number of rentals, and this was not the best - nor was it the worst. It was very clean, and the property managers were very timely in their responses. The view was lovely - especially because it snowed for several days of our visit - and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery out the large windows! Overall the property met our needs, but was not a place we would return to (although there were no significant issues). Several things we did find surprising and/or problematic: * The Internet connection was very poor. NOT a place you could work from if Internet was a necessity. * The house was much older than it appeared online or what we had expected. * The driveway is very steep - so make sure you have an AWD for the winter months. We had an AWD Suburban, and it was still difficult to navigate with the ice and snow. * Controlling the temperature was difficult. The bedrooms were either really warm or really cold. * There were no instructions for the TV. There were 4 remotes and we had to play around with them all until we got the system working. * The kitchen was generally well furnished, but some items did not work - including the mixer. Also, there was no tupperware or storage items. * They provided only a bottle of dishwashing soap and pods for the dishwasher. There was no way to clean the stove, countertops, sink, etc. When asked about what to clean with, we were told that all they provide is the dish soap. So, bring your own countertop cleaner, etc. * The beds were adequate, but we found the pillows to be very uncomfortable. However, that could be a preference issue. * The house was in a fairly populated residential neighborhood -which was surprising to us a bit. The pictures made it look more isolated than it really is. * The two bathrooms were very small for this size of home. It would be difficult for more than one person to be getting ready in either of the bathrooms. * The fireplace is electric, puts out very little heat, and is located behind the seating area for some reason. Overall, this was a nice home. However, as an older home it just didn't offer the unique things we have found at other rentals in the area. The view out the den window was absolutely spectacular as advertised, and it felt very spacious (except for the bathrooms). We would not hesitate to recommend this home if you are looking for a simple, basic, clean rental.

Fabulous getaway!

This house is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room to spread out and an incredible mountain view from the living room. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and beds were very comfy. Can’t wait to come back!

What a great place to spend time with friends and family. I really enjoyed the kitchen! And there was plenty of room in the fridge to store all of the food that we brought. Everything was very convenient. The air conditioners in the rooms were great since the house warmed up in the day. The view was breathtaking in the day and at night.

This was a beautiful place to stay and had everything we needed for our extended family. It was spacious and comfortable and the decor was so inviting and homey. We especially enjoyed the scene from the huge A-frame windows. We would love to come back and stay here again .
