This house was one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at. We have a baby who is crawling and the house was so clean we felt comfortable letting her crawl around. It was also the most stocked house we’ve stayed at, with spices, toiletries, laundry detergent etc. which just made it feel like we didn’t really have to pack so much! The view was phenomenal, the pictures don’t really even show how beautiful it was. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the Estes Park area!

Your search ends here. The property is within close proximity to Safeway, amazing restaurants, and RMNP, and yet, it is still secluded. Amazing views and the living room couch reclines which is a necessity after a long day of hiking. We will be back!

Our family of 4 stayed there for 5 days while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a well taken care of home
very clean, all decor well coordinated. The views are stunning from the large windows. Everything is just as it looks in the photos or better. The location is in the outskirts of Estes Park downtown, so it is quiet but a short ride to restaurants and shops. We saw elk and deer outside the house several days. My kids loved the ping pong table and foosball table. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. She had recommendations for how to get to the Safeway to avoid traffic. Quick to answer a question on the grill. She was accommodating with a slightly earlier check in and later check out. Highly recommend this house!

This was our second stay at this house and is by far our favorite vacation rental home. Each morning, we awoke before sunrise to watch the mountains light up in an orangey-pink glow. Sunset is even better with fiery oranges and reds, especially if there are a few clouds in the area. On both visits, we were fortunate enough to be visited by large bull elk, many deer, and one morning, a bobcat came to the backyard. Being just a few minutes from RMNP is an added bonus (purchase the 7-day pass, it’s only 5 more than the daily pass).The house has a great open layout, is well-equipped, and is soooo clean.

This property has it all. Only about 10 min to the downtown but still secluded enough to feel like you are truly away from the world. The views are spectacular and we saw lots of animals from the house. There were some fun toys for our kids which was so nice given we’d flown in with limited entertainment options. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to any friends or family interested in a visit to this area.

Where do I start? First off, the privacy and serenity of this place are unmatched. My husband and I felt like we were living on a ranch. The view of Longs Leak is breathtaking and the sunrise from the bedroom balcony is something I can’t even describe. This is my second trip to Colorado and let me say that my stay at Peppermint Hut gave whole new meaning and appreciation for the beauty that the mountains have to offer. Although it felt like we were in the mountains alone, we were within a short drive to anything downtown and either entrance to RMNP. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. The house is SPECTACULAR. So clean, so cozy, so beautiful! We loved it so well, we cancelled plans to go to Breckenridge and were lucky enough to stay longer than planned due to availability. I feel like I should comment on the no A/C. I was a tad worried since we are from Kentucky and can’t live without our A/C haha
.BUT within minutes of opening a couple windows In the evening, the house feels more comfortable than if using A/C. So if this is a reservation, don’t let it be! I wish our climate allowed for this at home! Lastly, Leah was so helpful and so nice! She made some great dinner recommendations and encouraged us to explore the Stanley which we spent two evenings doing. Just can’t say enough about this experience. We are already planning our trip back!

If you think of that one person you know who gets absolutely every little detail exactly right, and she (it would of course be a she) had her very best day, she could be the one who prepared and outfitted this amazingly beautiful home for our stay! This home is exquisite. It is sited with the most stunning view of mountains and the village of Estes Park that you can enjoy from four vantage points, upstairs master, living/dining, and two outside patios. The home is intelligently crafted, and the generous spaces provide for every possible space need. In fact, the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were provided with every conceivable need a traveler could have. Make a quick trip to the convenient Safeway store just minutes away for your main food items, and you’re all set. Everything else is already there for you, every imaginable detail. We absolutely adored this place. I would own it in a heartbeat if I could. Leah was very flexible, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and the ease of finding, getting into, and, sadly, leaving this lovely home was unparalleled.

Waking up to stunning views of Long’s Peak, made us never want to leave. This property had the perfect amount of privacy. When staying here, you feel as if you’re living on a ranch in the country, but downtown Estes Park is just a few minute (beautiful) drive. We spent every day in RMNP. This property served as the perfect base camp for our adventures. Highly recommend!

This was probably the most amazing place we stayed!!! Floor to ceiling windows with million dollar views!!!! The pictures are amazing but when you get there it’s 1,000 times better!!! Secluded but a very short drive to everything!! Restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, and fun things to do with the family! I would 100% recommend!!! Even the decor was so nice and put together! Made it feel like home! The Communication from Leah was above and beyond! We will be staying again!

We enjoyed every moment of the 3 nights we stayed at the Mountain Home Cabin. From the minute we pulled up and saw the incredible view through the windows, we knew we were staying somewhere special. Our host Leah was very good at communicating with us about all the amenities including how we could watch the Super Bowl during our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to put away our things to help us feel right at home. The kitchen is well equipped and fun to cook in with a large island people can sit at to keep the cook company and the view from the kitchen, dining, and living rooms is truly breathtaking. While having a cup of coffee while watching Long's Peak glow in the sunrise, or having a drink on the deck in the evening had us all saying we hope to stay here again someday.

That is what my granddaughter said repeatedly while standing on the deck with the magnificent view of Long's Peak. The home was perfect for our family and the kitchen was well stocked. Leah, our host, is amazing. She responded quickly to every question we had and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The home is away from all the hustle and bustle of town, but within 10 minutes of Estes. Very easy access to the park too. We would definitely want to stay here again.
