« The Trapper Shack was perfect! Secluded and absolutely stunning. The views were gorgeous. We enjoyed taking the dog for walks. We visited the ponds and then the barn Loved seeing all the animals. Wish I would have remembered to bring treats. The roads were fun in the jeep. It was only 20 minutes to Bristol Raceway. Will definitely stay again. »

« First off, we have never stayed in a yurt before so have nothing to compare this yurt with. We've had friends to and they have had good things to say. Since this was a last-minute trip and we wanted to be close to the trailhead, we decided to try out this yurt that advertised that it was "7" minutes from the trailhead. and was "luxurious"!!!!! It ended up being 24 minutes. I'm glad I had GPS because the way that the host told us to go, was in the opposite direction and there was NOTHING...

« Great stay for a long weekend, cabin is well-supplied with entertainment options and kitchen equipment, HVAC cools well on all 3 floors (we visited during a heat wave, if you can call it that at 4300ft altitude), and comfortable furniture, including rockers on the deck for the amazing views! Big Bald is clearly visible on the Tennessee border 3.1 miles away as the crow flies - bring binoculars! « Everything was perfect! You absolutely need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill. Im not sure if I overlooked that part or just didn't see but I believe we were at the top of the mountain. « Very clean and well maintained. Only stayed one night but it was perfect for me and my wife while spending a weekend in Asheville. Check in process was a breeze. Very steep gravel driveway. My Front wheel drive SUV couldn’t do it so we had to park a little way away from the house (no big deal). Overall very nice stay. »
