Negatief: Netheid, inchecken en communicatie
It’s an amazing property with lots of room to enjoy your time. The volleyball and pickleball courts are in great condition and lighted very well. The pool is in good shape and both the pool and hot tub are functional but there are a lot of tiles missing on the hot tub, it needs some maintenance. The pool table in the game room was tons of fun but it too needs some maintenance. The felt is in OK shape and almost all the pockets are busted and need replacement, a few times balls fell on our feet trying to retrieve them and they pockets don’t hold balls that go in. The property is private and quiet although there is a residence at the front of the property that feels a little odd but it is separated by a wall. Many of the carpets had stains that need to be addressed and the bed in the master bedroom is lumpy with a big bump in the centerline making “two valleys” to sleep in. One last suggestion for improvement is for the host to have a “binder” with some instructions (e.g. pool/hot tub, master bathroom shower, lock codes for game room door, etc…). Many times we had to reach out to host who was not very responsive although he claimed VRBO was not delivery in messages. I had to contact VRBO directly many times to contact the host. It’s a nice property but feels more like a great party pad, the recycle was overflowing with beer and liquor bottles and cans from a previous renter, I assume.
