'The cottage is a beautiful design and full of essential home comforts. The bed was really comfy and the fire in the evening was lovely, set ready for us. We were a bit surprised how far we were from the beach as for some reason we thought it was a quick easy walk. Worth noting there are two steps from the living to the kitchen area which may be tricky for some people.'

'The cottage is clean and have a positive atmosphere. Surrounding nature makes the place very relaxing. We loved the fire place. Carport next to the cottage was so helpful. The direction of getting to the cottage was a bit confusing. One of the reasons we booked this cottage was having a spa but we couldn't use the Spa as it was so cold and by the time it got to the right temperature it was bed time. We were disappointed as we expected a ready to use spa like other places. '

'Bootmakers is cosy, warm and full of character - rustic, quirky, full of vintage curios and surprising discoveries. Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need, including ample breakfast provisions and pantry staples. Located in the centre of the lovely little township - with gastropub and shops a short walk away, and a short drive from the wonderful Brae restaurant. Would love to go back when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the large courtyard out the back...

'The cottage impressed upon arrival - balcony overlooking the rolling hills with a view of the ocean provided a great spot to sit, read, relax, enjoy a cup of tea or meditate. Helen was a delight to chat to and was very accommodating. The farm animals and wildlife were just the icing on the cake. It is obvious there has been a lot of thought, care and love put in to the experience.'
