You’re one block from the village’s restaurants and breweries and a 3-minute drive from Holiday Valley and HoliMont, with free on-site parking, fast WiFi, and your own heat and AC. THE SPACE

Loft 5 is a studio, so the bed, living area, and kitchen share one open room — efficient, private, and easy to settle into for a night or a season. It’s on the second floor, one flight up.

Sleeping: king bed with fresh linens and closet space.

Living: comfortable couch, smart TV, and a dedicated workspace with fast WiFi — easy to get real work done between ski runs or before dinner.

Kitchen: a full kitchen, not a kitchenette — full-size refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and the cookware, dishes, and utensils to cook real meals.

Bathroom: private full bath with a tub-and-shower combo, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, and starter soap.

Laundry: coin-operated washer and dryer in the building — handy for longer stays.

Climate: your own heating and air conditioning, independent of the other lofts, so you set the temperature. Iron and board, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

LOCATION

The Washington Lofts sit one block off Ellicottville’s main strip, in a walkable village in the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York. Step out the door and you’re a short stroll from independent restaurants, craft breweries (Ellicottville Brewing Company is a local favorite), cafes, boutiques, and bars — and the village’s festival calendar, from Fall Festival and Mardi Gras to Jazz & Blues Weekend and the Summer Music Festival, unfolds right outside.

Winter is peak season: Holiday Valley Resort and HoliMont Ski Area are a 3-minute drive, with skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and cross-country trails. In warmer months it’s hiking, mountain biking, golf (including Holiday Valley’s mountain course), and some of the best fall-foliage drives in the Northeast. Groceries, a pharmacy, and everyday essentials are a short drive away if you want to stock the kitchen.

ACCESS AND PARKING

The entire studio is yours — private entrance, your own kitchen and bath; nothing is shared with other guests except the building’s coin laundry. Check-in is self-service via keypad lock; we send your door code and step-by-step arrival instructions before you arrive, so you come and go on your own schedule. Free on-site parking is included; your arrival instructions show exactly where to park. The Washington Lofts are eight private apartments at 38 Washington Street; you may pass other guests in the entry hallway, but inside Loft 5 it’s just you.

GOOD TO KNOW

Non-smoking: strictly no smoking, inside or in the entryways.
Pets: pets are welcome.
Noise: Madigan’s bar is next door to the building, with live music on Friday and Saturday nights until close. Loft 5 sits on the far side of the building from the bar, so it’s quieter than the units nearest it, but this is a downtown location and light sleepers may still want earplugs on weekend nights. Weeknights are quiet. You’re also one block from the main strip, so expect normal village sounds, especially on festival weekends.
Length of stay: no minimum — one night is fine, and longer stays are welcome. Utilities are included, so the studio works well as a ski-season base or for a work assignment.
Stairs: one flight up to the studio.
Check-in after 3 p.m., checkout by 11 a.m. Primary renter must be 21 or older.
