« Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. The location couldn’t be better—right next to a restaurant and just across the street from the chair lifts, which made getting on the mountain incredibly convenient. Check‑in was a breeze; you simply go to the main lobby at the resort and they take care of everything.The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. « Nicely decorated unit, clean and inviting; the host stayed close communication with us throughout our stay; our questions and requests were all promptly answered and attended to. Amenities are functioning properly except the range hood, perhaps consider a replacement as it is very noisy and not really functioning well. We enjoyed our stay here and will book again when we are back in the area again. »
