'L’accueil de Maria nous a séduit. Elle est d’une gentillesse et elle s’occupe de ses clients aux petits soins. Elle est très accessible et nous donne d’excellents conseils. 'This place is a must visit in Crete. The rooms are modern, immaculate and designed thoughtfully. The hotel is perched on a hill that provides impressive views of a stunning beach and clear waters of the Mediterranean. Check in was smooth, due to the friendliness of the staff and the restaurant is fantastic. My wife has severe celiac disease and they accommodated her allergies multiple times for breakfast and dinner and she never got sick. I highly recommend this place for any travelers...

'Pool was very cold, not nice and a bit dirty. No views (in city, street view with balcony on street). The wide angle views of the hotel's pictures give an inappropriate view. The setup for me was more like 3 stars. Nevertheless, the stay was fair. The area with beaches is great. But next time, I will not stay here but book a bed & breakfast with better views'

'Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue. '

'Erst war der Wind so stark, dass wir starken Lärm im Zimmer hatten. Dies wurde am nächsten Tag behoben. Dazu hatten wir leider bei starkem Regen und Wind Wasser in unserem Zimmer, welches unter der Eingangstüre eingetreten ist. Die Rezeptionistinnen, vorallem Eleni, waren sehr hilfsbereit.'

"Lovely and kind hosts, a beautiful and spacious studio with a private kitchen and balcony, super clean and serviced daily! Large refrigerator with bottled water and a freezer. Great for the warm weather. Very good and quiet air conditioning in the room. In the upstairs hallway for hotel guests, fresh coffee, cake, and fresh fruit are freely available!"
