Hôtel près de Eagle's View Point Shanthipura (Nuwara Eliya)

« The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. »

Grand merci ! »

« Prarthana and the staff was very professional and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast next morning. Views were amazing from our room. Location is beautiful and very conveniently close to the tea lounges and Nuwara Eliya town. Room is very clean and comfortable. »

« We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. »

« + : good view on rice fields, very comfortable bed, very good DIY breakfast in the flat, not too noisy in spite of the main road close by, hot water - : the dampness of the flat with a faint smell of moisture, WiFi did not work properly »

« Je recommande fortement cet hôtel! Le personnel est incroyable et très attentionné! Les chambres sont vraiment très confortables! 10/10 pour nous! »

« Staff was good beds a little hard & sheets not clean overall not like the pictures on hotels.com we could hear all that was going on in next room & downstairs »

« Chambres tres confortables.

« Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful »

« Nytt rent hotell. Generös och fin frukost. Personalen väldigt hjälpsam. »

« What a wonderful little home-stay! If you're after somewhere quiet, yet still close to the centre of Nuwara Eliya, this spot it perfect. No frills, just a comfortable room at an affordable price. Only a short walk to food options (Royal Wok does an excellent biryani). It might be a little hard to find, but message Saman (e.g. via WhatsApp) and they'll collect you from wherever you need - even as far as Colombo airport! Andrew's Lodge is a great option for anyone looking to break up the trip...
