This house was perfect for our weekend baseball tournament! There was plenty of room for us to hang out when we weren’t at the ball field and we had everything we needed and more. The house is clean and very cozy. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings while the kids played on the swing set and played with Willow. Sharon was very easy to communicate with and answered very quickly. We walked to the field of dreams several times. It was a wonderful stay and we will for sure stay here again if we come back!

We stayed there in 2023 and again this year - our Boys love it! It's a great place to stay during our baseball tournaments at Field of Dreams. Plenty of room for the Kids to play Blitzball, cookout and have families over. The Ameskamps are great people and hopefully we'll be back next year.

Weekend Visit for local wedding

The house is completely warm and inviting clean and beautiful. The property is well-maintained and we sat by the fire pit down by the creek played with Willow the dog. Everything was just wonderful and perfect!

We absolutely loved everything about this home. It was the perfect place to stay for our baseball tournament at the field of dreams. The house is clean and nice. Great sleeping arrangements for our family. The owners are wonderful and we loved hanging out with Willow! Thank you!

Best VRBO stay ever!

Stayed here for a grandson’s team Baseball Tournament at The Field of Dreams - literally right across the street down a path through a field ! The cleanest place we have ever stayed and loved the property ‘s dog Willow .The town of Dyersville is the cutest and the people were so friendly. Hubby and I both grew up in small“Everyone knows everyone” towns and were sent back in time when the waitress at the diner knew the owners of the house!

Great House!

Super clean house located very close to Field of Dreams. The owners stay on the property (they are pretty far away from the house) in an RV/shed and come and go, which I didn’t expect, but do not interfere with your stay. The house was perfect and we could not have asked for a better place to stay while in town visiting family. We would definitely come again and are grateful for being able to stay in their beautiful home.

Baseball Tournament Stay

This property is nothing but amazing! The owners were so accommodating to lettings us check in a day early checking in on us. Willow was amazing the kids could not wait to get up in the morning to go see her. I have stayed at several VRBO's before and by far this one topped the cake with comfortable beds and room for everyone. We had a camper parked at the camp site and fire area was amazing. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Wonderful Trip! This VRBO is lovely and charming. Sharon, Wayne and Willow are wonderful hosts. We were so busy with our family event and unable to take in the Field of Dreams movie location, but we did enjoy the peaceful location and evening card games, lots of family bonding time. Thank you! Amazing communication and attention to details. The property is incredible and the house is well kept and comfortable. And Willow stole our hearts! Highly recommend this if you want to be close to the Field of Dreams movie site location.

Is This Heaven?

What an amazing property; we stayed here for a Baseball Tournament at the Field of Dreams and were in awe on how close we were to the field, our other teammates were quite envious! The property is generously appointed with everything you will need and very clean! The owners were extremely kind and generous, promptly communicating any time we reached out. The kids loved playing outside with Willow the dog and overall it was just the perfect place to stay while visiting Dyersville. We would love to return again sometime!

We cannot thank Sharon enough for making our stay absolutely amazing. From the time we booked till the time we checked out, our process was so easy and so smooth. The house was awesome with a perfect location. Very clean. We absolutely loved and looked forward to seeing Willow every day. I coach a 13U, here for the weekend. You can see FOD from the home, half a mile away. We loved the place for informal little stops by other parents and players between games and obligations. Tons of lawn space to play catch or whiffle, grass was perfect. Used the grill and deck for a cookout, excellent. The home was spacious and comfortable, had everything we needed, and of course laundry was appreciated. Lastly, the star of the show was Willow, their super cute dog on site…loved everyone, she was great. Really enjoyed our stay!

Wedding Weekend

We were in Dyersville overnight for my nephew’s wedding, so we didn’t get to spend much time at the property. I would definitely come back for a long weekend with the kids and grandkids. There’s a lot of outdoor area to lounge and relax and watch the kids play on the playground equipment. We loved the resident dog Willow…she kindly welcomed us to the very spacious, clean and well-equipped home away fro home. Thank you so much!!

Home Run!

We had a baseball tournament at the Field of Dreams and this place was the PERFECT place to stay. Across the street from the Field and just a few minutes from the other fields we played on. Lots of room in the house and everything you need (coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils, drinkable water, extra blankets, etc). Even better was the outside - it is an amazing property with a ton of room for the kids to run around and play wiffle ball, explore the creek, etc. Lots of picnic tables and other outdoor seating. But best of all was the resident dog, Willow. She is ADORABLE. She absolutely loved playing with the kids and bested them all at tetherball. Owners are highly accommodating and easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely stay

We stayed in the house for a baseball tournament. This was perfect. It was my family of 6 (4 kids, ages 10, 7, 4, 2) plus my parents and there was plenty of space for the 8 of us. It was such a peaceful place to go between games. The swing set in the big yard was a huge plus. Willow was a hits. She is such a precious dog and loved running around with the kids. My 2nd cried leaving her. Rain messed with our schedule and they were so flexible and let us add another night last minute. Communication was easy and quick. Kitchen has every thing you’d need. We cooked a lot at the house and never came across something we missed. Definitely recommend staying here.

Is this Heaven? No, it's Iowa!

Best of the midwest. If you want the real deal Iowa experience in the country, this is the place for you. Alot of care and consideration went into decor, and anenities of this property. Communication with hosts was beyond fantastic. Our kids had a blast. As parents we were glad there was no wifi. Lots of board games and movies. Tons of outside space to run around. The FOD was magical and it was great being so close. Packn-play, high chair and stroller pro ides for our infant was really appreciated. All the besd and pillows were extremely comfortable. Dyersville was a small town gem. From the friendly people to tractor parade, flea markets, and the beautiful bascilica, it was nostalgic and relaxing. Having grown up outside a small town in rural Minnesota myself I can tell you this is the most genuine midwest experience you'll get. Come see for yourself!!
