Blokhutten in Dunn Peak Protected Area

'Selected this motel for an overnight stay en route to Wells Gray Park and other nature parks. Well-fitted room with slightly dated furniture, offered at a fair price (no breakfast). Friendly hosts who respond well to requests. Enjoyed a pleasant late summer evening in the deck chairs outside the room. Drawback is the proximity to the rail track with noisy, long cargo trains passing every 2 hours or so.'

'Clean, but worn. Basic accommodation. Staff almost nonexistent. Simple things you might expect like a chair or a bedside light were absent. The food in the pub was very good.'

'This loft suite was great for our family of 3. Comfy and clean with a full kitchen. Next to the highway but with windows closed we didnt even notice and when we were sitting we had views of mtns and trees. Great location to access the park and walking distance to the bakery, resteraunts and groceries.'
