Super cute cabin, we enjoyed our farm stay at the gatekeeperโ€™s cabin. Such a pretty setting, we loved watching the cows, feeding the horses and birds, and having a fire on chilly winter nights.

The cabin was adequate for a weekend stay with our very young granddaughter. We enjoyed the fireplace, and feeding the birds was a treat. There were a couple of newborn calves there too.Unfortunately we were unable to access the TV for local nor cable, the stereo/CD player also not working, even after a call to the owner.Zero toilet paper was supplied which we had to go back into town to purchase.These small issues spoilt an otherwise lovely stay.

Stay at Gatekeepers Cottage

We had a short stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. Nice to see the cattle and horses moving about. Plenty of lovely birds came in to visit. Very close to Boonah and local pub where the food was really nice and beer cold. Very peaceful setting, would highly recommend.

Delightful in Boonah

This is a delightful cottage just outside Boonah, in a beautiful farm setting with views of the surrounding hills and farms. The cottage is comfortable with everything you need for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.It is only a few minutes outside of Boonah and there are plenty of National Parks and sights to visit during your stay as well.

50th Wedding Anniversary Getaway

Enjoyed our stay at Gatekeepers. Very quiet, clean and perfect accomodation for our getaway enjoying the beautiful views across the valley. Loved sitting on the verandah whilst the bird life visited morning & evening and the horses reached out for a loving pat. I could watch the cattle grazing everyday (but then wait) adventure awaited in the faraway mountains with endless mountain streams running beneath the forest canopies a bushwalkers paradise. Thankyou Craig for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise.

The perfect escape

It was an absolute pleasure being surrounded by the beautiful Scenic Rim countryside and living in exceptional comfort at the Gatekeeper's cabin. We had all we needed for a relaxing and enjoying stay that was a real break away from city life. We were exceptionally grateful to bring our dog along on the trip, who love the environment just as much as we did.
