Een van de betere hotels aan de rustige kant van JBR. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en helpen je met alles. De hulp van de mensen van het zwembad/strand maken je dag compleet ook de security en de mensen van de valet parking zijn onwijs behulpzaam. Volgende keer komen wij hier weer terug.

Dit hotel raad ik niemand aan. We hadden voor 16 dagen geboekt. Bij het zwembad heb je nooit zon. Naast het hotel werd er dagelijks gebouwd aan een nieuw hotel. Met een baby die nooit rustig een dutje kon doen op het strand of bij het zwembad was het echt geen fijn hotel! Personeel op het strand is zeer traag. Hele onlogische ingang van het hitte. De ingang was ook nog eens 10 dagen gesloten wegens verbouwing. We hebben geklaagd over de overlast maar omdat we via Expedia geboekt hadden konden ze niets voor ons betekenen. Nooiiiiittt meer!!

Het zwembad zit groot deel van de dag in de schaduw van het naastgelegen gebouw. Ontbijt was echt super, ga alleen binnen eten buiten zijn veel vogels.

Mooie ruime kamers, ideaal voor gezinnen. Ontbijt was goed, de chef-kok was zeer vriendelijk. Hij maakte speciaal voor mijn kindjes heerlijke crêpes met chocola en banaan, wij vonden dat erg lief en attent! Bij het ontbijt ook de keuze uit veel fruit die je daar kon laten persen. Verder was het zwembad heerlijk!!! Je zat bijna altijd in de zon en er waren altijd wel ligbedden beschikbaar bij het zwembad. Enige minpunt is dat ze in het weekend een Poolparty houden waardoor het soms extreem druk kan zijn met luide muziek. Privestrand was ook erg heerlijk, ruime keuze qua ligbedden. Personeel overal was erg aardig, voornamelijk de stagiaire bij de receptie.

Prima hotel bij The Walk
6 nachten, 5 dagen verbleven in dit hotel. Vriendelijke behulpzame medewerkers. Soms wat lang wachten bij de receptie als je vragen hebt. Kamers zijn zeer schoon, ruim en comfortabel. Badkamer was een beetje 'versleten', de toplaag van het bad was verdwenen en het rubbere randje van de douchedeur zat los waardoor de hele badkamer onder water liep na het douchen. Twee keer roomservice voor een drankje besteld, het duurde wat lang voor dat het op de kamer geleverd werd, een half uur voor een drankje. Ontbijt is prima, buiten is de bediening attent en erg zorgzaam, binnen minder. Zwembad vind ik niet echt kindvriendelijk, recht toe recht aan, op vrijdagen is het afgeladen vol aan de bar in het zwembad. Onze kinderen kregen uitslag van het zwemwater, er zit erg veel chloor in het zwembad. Rode schrale plekken over hun hele lichaam. Het zwembad voelde niet echt prettig, niet heel erg schoon en gezellig. Het strand is prima. Prima bedjes en parasols. Als je Hilton-member bent, heb je overal prima WIFI verbinding, tot op het strand, prima. Al met al, wij vonden het een oké hotel, niet uitzonderlijk goed, relatief aan de dure kant voor hetgeen je 'krijgt'. Zeker met wat grotere kinderen is er in en om het hotel relatief weinig te doen.

Hotel was prima, mooie ruime suite. Eerder al verbleven op andere Hilton op de walk. Dit was iets minder luxe maar nog steeds ruim boven gemiddeld. Fijn personeel, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In de middag genieten van het verse fruit, het bevroren doekje mer rozenwater en de brillen clean service die gratis werd aangeboden. De moeite waard om hier te boeken!

We moved to this hotel from a five star hotel on the Palm and really wish we had have stayed here from the start. Hotel staff were great - extremely helpful & attentive - great location just a few mins walk to the Walk - really clean and well equipped two bedrooms apartment - but to me the best thing was the pool area - really modern, extremely relaxing, spacious, lots of sun beds and lovely big pool. I have been to Dubai five times now and stayed in some really nice hotels - but will probably use this as my go to base for future visits.

DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai - Jumeirah Beach was a wonderful stay. They had amazing front desk staff and their apartment was Hugh and spacious for our family of 5. Couple of nits, the unit is missing a kitchen, for the size of the unit, the fridge was a tiny (hotel room size) and other than water, a nesspresso machine and a kettle, there weren’t any thing else.

Overall pretty pretty good
We had a suite (great size) with a ‘marina view’. It’s more ‘road’ view with a touch of canal! My only real gripe was a weak ‘over the bathtub’ shower rather than a walk in shower. There was certainly enough room for one. Plenty of Nespresso refills & water. Room service food was also very good. Breakfast was great and the service excellent-also very good value. Pool side food also good as well as the service. In the afternoon the volume increases to the point where u can’t hear your own iPod so in the end I gave up trying-worse on a Saturday as for some strange reason there’s a singer at one part of the pool and a DJ at the other-if you’re in the middle u can’t hear either! The hotel is in the shade for most of the day but trust me your skin will appreciate it! We went to Maine restaurant twice and the vibe & food were great.

Very nice hotel in JBR/The Walk with its own access to the beach. We had a one bedroom flat and it was very comfortable. Only inconvenience is we found out after booking that the pool, and the gym was in renovation. But that also explains the affordable rate we got As we were there a very hot weather, missing a pool area was a big let down. But from October, the hotel pool should be operational, with a kid area (which was also missing).

Excellent hotel on the beach in Dubai Marina
Booked a 3 bed room and it was huge. Hotel is very well placed to walk to beach, bluewater island and nearby shops and restaurants. Even though we arrived after 3pm the hotel kept us waiting for 30 mins at receiption with minimal updates. Breakfast was good with very friendly staff. Would stay again, though TV channels (English / Kids) are poor and TV's are a bit old.
