Nice hill country getaway

I took my kids, mom, and sister here for spring break. It was perfect! The property was clean, & had the perfect amount of beds for all 7 of us! I enjoyed the campgrounds as it had plenty of space for all kids to roam, roast marshmallows, swing in the hammock, etc.. I definitely plan to come back. Only complaint was how far trash bins were from the cabin. We had to put trash in our car to take trash out :-/

Carpet in Maser bedroom is curled up and we kept tripping over it. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Coffee pot took over 30 minutes to make a pot of coffee. Ran out of toilet paper in one bath. Found a roll in master bath that was almost gone.

Drift into the Hills at the Driftwoods

This was a neat property that served our family well and gave us a midpoint spot where we could venture in any direction and explore the area and it surrounding areas. Central to Austin & San Antonio & New Braunfels/San Marcos areas. Had nice kitchen area, air conditioning worked well, as it was hot when we were there. The only negative was the hot tub had issues and we could not enjoy it on our stay, and the hot tub was a big reason we booked this property. To their credit the property management did make several attempts, to try figure out the hot tub issue but it was not resolved during our stay. We still enjoyed the property but don't feel we would have been willing to pay as much with the hot tub not being a working amenity to the property. We felt management probably should have offered a partial refund due to the hot tub being down for our rental/trip but it was not.

Beautiful home, private location

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful blue house. It was tastefully decorated and easy to check-in. We had no issues at all. Cleaning crew could do a better job but linens and bedrooms were clean and we felt comfortable here.

Good location to Wimberley & Dripping springs. Not cleanest though.

We really enjoyed the location of this property as it easily let us explore Dripping Springs and Wimberley. However, if cleanliness if top priority for you, this property should be avoided. Sheets were stained, (looked like bed bugs and it was not a good experience when we crawled in bed after a long day to such sheets. We were assured by the host it was not bed bugs, but talk about causing paranoia and uneasy sleep). Also dead bugs in many rooms/bathroom; hard water stains on silverware; we had to wash out many dishes before using; cobwebs under cabinets, some dog hair on the couch. Probably would not stay here again even though a great location.

Spring Break Jump off Spot

Exactly what we were looking for in a jumping off spot to visit places around the Austin/Fredericksburg/Austin/Gruene area. Very clean, quiet at night, and a well appointed kitchen.

Perfect for our crew of 6!

We loved the blue house at the driftwoods! The bed & room arrangements were perfect for the crew we had. We enjoyed the jacuzzi outside and the grilling area. The kids had plenty of space and outside things to play on. The grill was a bit dirty and someone had left trash out there before us. But other than that we definitely want to come back!

Property was great. Location was ok but pretty far out. My only complaint was another guest in the teepee had a large German shepherd that noisy and scared my wife and 8 lb Yorkie. He did not attack them because he was restrained by his owner.

Such a delight!

We were there with a few friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, the hot tub had been freshly filled (I ran into the fellow who was finishing it up; he was friendly and helpful), everything was great!

Nice

I like that it has a community area and we were the only ones on the property at the time. If I wanted to be alone with family I wouldn't have chose it, but it would be a really cool place to get all the family in different houses on the lot for like a reunion. House was nice and comfortable. I liked their firepit, bbq pit, and hot tub. The TEEPEE was a nice surprise to look at. Kids thought it was cool looking.

Place was nice. Cool area, closer to other rentals than I thought but private enough. Hot tub was great. Few things could have been cleaned a little better (toilet, dishes). Some of the chair seats weren’t screwed down, not a big deal. Beds were clean. Overall, nice place, far enough out of town to be private, and close enough to be somewhere quick.

We enjoyed our stay. The Driftwoods is perfectly located if you are visiting the Dripping Springs/ Wimberley area. The multiple structures on the site would make a perfect location for a family reunion.

Loved our colorful cabin!!

Enjoyed the peaceful wooded location. So relaxing. Hot tub was perfect at the end of a busy day of shopping and wine hopping! Would stay again but don’t expect an early check-in accommodation. Tried 4 times from the point of reservation just to get in an hour early to change and leave for our excursions and kept getting the run around.

The place was perfect to get away from the everyday life. It was very peaceful.

Overall, I would really recommend this place if you're looking to escape into a calm and peaceful environment this would be it. The only problem I encounter was the kitchen sink being clogged, but other than that the place was very clean and well supplied with everyrthing you need for your stay.
