« We were in town for a wedding at the Chestnut Inn. We needed a place that was close to the Inn because our 9 month old granddaughter was staying behind with her grandpa. That way her parents could get back to her quickly if needed. Also, other family members who hadn’t met her yet could come to the VRBO and hang out with us for the afternoon in a homey setting. « The property was perfect for our group of 8 families. Spent lots of time in the pool and catching frogs in the pond. Also did a walk in the creek and the river! Plenty of room for games in the yard. It’s like your own secluded piece of heaven. Perfect for a large group! »

« We loved our time here and never slept better. Lots of golf, ski, hiking and water activities. If you like a small town feel, Margaretville is close by and nice. Come here is you want to relax! The house is very clean and well appointed inside. It has everything you need and the hot tub is awesome after a day of activities. The frog pond is great to sit by with a small fire in the fire ring. »

(We brought our own bcs we didn't know)It was just AMAZING to wake up to the lake's view.You have your own private house on the lake literally! « Well maintained rental in a beautiful location. The listing and photos were very accurate. I had a nice time enjoying birds, small wildlife and even a young black bear on the grounds. Short drive to stores, hiking spots and interesting outdoor art exhibitions. I booked this location by accident and have absolutely no regrets. I look forward to booking it on purpose again in the future. »
