« Great house! »

« This was our 4th trip to Cape May and our first time at the whaler’s cottage. It was a fun place to stay and make memories with our children and grandchildren. It sits on a quiet tree lined street with an awesome playground nearby. What we liked: There were plenty of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom and outdoor showers were great. « Adorable home, well kept, good amenities and easy ride to several beaches, restaurants and the Square. This was my first time in Cape May and loved it! »

« Booked a last minute getaway with the family decided to spend the extra money to be on the water and I am so glad we did. The property feels like home and has a great layout for traveling with kids. The views and private beach access make it the place to go with kids. No crowds to deal with just family fun. « There were four of us two adults and two teenagers and two dogs and it accommodated us perfectly. I loved the touches of the outside shower and foot washing stations at the entrance to each of the decks. The gates were a huge Plus as well so the dogs could go out on the deck and I didn't have to worry about them. It was a short trek to the beach and we had it almost all to ourselves. The owner was accommodating as was the property manager. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Very peaceful ride back to beach home. Check in was smooth and we wasted no time going to the beach which was easily accessible with a nice little path. The water, the sunrise, and quiet atmosphere was so relaxing. Folks in the community were so friendly. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Mermaid cottage. Extremely clean, stocked with everything we needed. Nice to have the bay just a short block away. The screened in porch was wonderful for eating together. Owners were extremely communicative and helpful. Relaxing neighborhood away from the chaos of downtown Cape May. I’ll stay again in the future. »
