'Fomos um grupo de 8 adultos a trabalho, em pleno Agosto. Fomos bem recebidos à chegada. As cortesias da casa valem bem a pena. Local ótimo para descansar. Nenhum incómodo por parte de terceiros. Os proprietários sempre flexíveis com os nossos horários de entrada e saída. Alojamento muito bem localizado e higienizado.'

'Er hadden wat meer handdoeken kunnen zijn. De aanwezige wasmachine deed erg lang over zijn geprogramma. De ligstoelen waren versleten. Maar ondanks deze aandachtspuntjes waren wij prima tevreden.'

'Marcus’ place is incredible! It was much bigger than we expected and worked perfectly for our group (two families with teenage kids 14- 18 plus my 80 year old mother). The pool was great (particularly given the heat!) and we made good use of the gym and cinema room (the property also has its own chapel!) Having Rosa, the housekeeper, join us every morning to set out breakfast was fantastic and meant that we had one less meal to organise. Deserves its 5* rating!'

'Wat een geweldige locatie, huis en gastvrijheid!! Echt meer dan geweldig! Wat hebben wij genoten.. ook het ontbijt was super! We komen heel graag terug..'

'This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

'I paid for the whole place yet when I arrived, Maria argued with me that I had not, for an hour. Her argument was that I had less people than 10 so I didnt need all bedrooms. That was not an option on VRBO website. Finally she accepted that our cleaning fee was paid and opened up the annexe. It was a needless hour wasted and left us all feeling a little shaken. 'Prachtig nieuw appartement, heel schoon en netjes. Als enige zou ik kunnen zeggen dat het gezelliger aangekleed zou kunnen worden. Mooi uitzicht over de Douro, 's morgens komen de grote rivierboten langs. Verder heel rustig maar met een auto is alles goed te berriken'

"Mooi hotel boven in de bergen, midden in het Dauro wijngebied. Hotelier is tevens wijnproducent van hele mooie Portugese wijnen, deze kun je ook in hotel proeven en uiteraard kopen. Wij hadden een gratis upgrade naar een zeer mooie suite. Mooie badkamer, loungeruimte en goed bed en balkon. Restaurant met goede dinermogelijkheden. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel die je het zoveel mogelijk naar je zin willen maken. Alles ziet er supernetjes en schoon uit. Absolute aanrader in een mooi en rustig wijngebied. 15 minuten rijden van Lamego en 30 min. Van Pinhao."
