'A perfect hotel to stay! We had a good room with a view over the city street. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is not near old quarter and a little outside of the city center. For us that was perfect: it was less busy and noisy around us. With the use of a taxi (for instance through the Grab-app, which is not expensive), you can quickly get to the city center.
What made our stay perfect was the helpful staff. Our thanks go to Tina, Duong, Cuong and Long. They...

'Thank you for pointing that out! Here’s the revised translation:
I don’t often write recommendations—in fact, I’ve hardly written any before.
The reason I’m writing this one is that I want to tell anyone interested in staying in Hanoi:
If you have WhatsApp, if your phone has a translation feature for English, or if you are comfortable speaking English, you should seriously consider this hotel. They can solve a lot of your problems and make your trip much easier.
First, let me mention the...

'Suitable budget apartment with very local vibes. Near to a vibrant restaurant street, two large grocery stores and a wonderful lake. Tons of coffee shops around.
I had the larger studio with big terrace on the 7th floor. I loved the view and natural light. Couch and coffee table suitable for working. AC worked great even on the hottest days. Great to have in-room washing machine. One-burner stove and kettle were sufficient. Unfortunately, few dishes or cooking stuff; I had to buy plates, pan,...

'My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was nothing like the photos advertised online. It was dirty, the bed linens were stained, and there was mold/fungus visible in several areas. To make matters worse, I had two cockroaches running around the room during my stay.
The air conditioning was another major issue. It was so loud that it was almost impossible to sleep with it on, but turning it off wasn’t an option because the room became unbearably hot.
