Blokhutten in Dog Island

'During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). 'This was perfect for our 2 night stay. It was clean (including the Keurig) and there were plenty of linens and dishes. The heater worked great, though it’s a different kind of unit with a remote and a quick Google search told us how to set it. No big deal.
