« During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). « Petit motel atypique , nous le savions en réservant ici … facilité d’enregistrement , la gérante est super sympa !! Tout confort , barbecue à l’extérieur , les autres voyageurs très agréables , ça faisait un peu camping familiale où tout le monde se parle et se dit bonjour .. rien à voir avec la France . Le lit est un peu haut et moelleux .. et les cloisons sont minces et ne sont pas insonorisées.. si vous éternuez il y a des chances pour que le voisin vous dises «  à tes souhaits!! » Panacea...

« Check in was easy, Forest was very helpful. The hotel is right on the beach. Walk across their deck and you are in the sand. It is also walking distance to all the restaurants and convenience stores on the island. If you want modern and fancy this hotel is not for you. It is however updated and clean.
