'It tells you something that I was waiting in anticipation for the Hotels.com email just so I could get online and give Hensleigh House the five star rating it absolutely deserves. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we waved goodbye, our stay was first class. The building itself is beautiful with plentiful carparking out front which made access easy if needed. Inside, the bedrooms and ensuites were immaculate. Comfortable beds, windows you can actually open to let in...

'Louise was an attentive host. The room was extremely well stocked with toiletries and refreshments. The staircase was very narrow and steep so a good level of mobility is needed. The breakfast had an amazing choice with a wide selection of fruits, homemade preserves and toast and a generous cooked menu. We would recommend staying here.'

'The hotel was near the town of Dorchester and lot’s of things to see and do are within walking distance. Nice welcome with tea and cake! Breakfast was very nice and staff helpful with planning our trips. We stayed in the garden-suite with a family of four. With the sofa bed unfolded there was not much space left to leave our luggage but furhermore we had a great stay! Note: there are cats in the house. (Not in the rooms!) We love cats so no problems there but be warned if you have...
