Campings en stacaravans in District North Dorset

'Hotels in the UK can be a bit old or outdated, this is a good example. Don't get me wrong, the location is nice (Gold Hill is around the corner) and it's on a roundabout so you can't really miss it. But for nearly 200 euro, I have to say it's a bit overpriced. Yes it was high season and so on but still. Good things are, it's clean, it has a pool. Not so good, outdated a bit, it can get quite warm inside the room as there is no airco or fan in the room itself. Opening a window is good idea...

'We checked into this space ABOVE a working hair salon after hours. The "secret" room is on the very top floor up a few flights of very narrow stairs. But when you (and your luggage) get up there, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The owner has thought of all the little things you might need. The bathroom is modern, the bed extremely comfortable. Our host was very responsive, helpful and kind. We really enjoyed wandering the streets of this small town and had a lovely meal at the hotel! ...

'This is a lovely old cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom extension. It had everything you need in a cottage, was clean and warm. The garden would be a lovely spot to sit in warm weather. I would recommend it.'
