'I usually don’t write hotel reviews unless a place is either so bad it deserves a documentary… or so good it makes me question my actual home. 😂 This time around, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Blount Island absolutely delivered. From the second I walked in, the presentation and customer service were flawless. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly, and nobody looked at me like I was inconveniencing them by existing. I gave a 1-star based on the fact the hotel would not cancel and rebook my request for the next month without paying the whole stay twice. I had even added cancellation protection for a the unplanned cancellation, but the original date was too close. 'Courtyard Marriott is usually my go to hotel when traveling but lately they haven’t been up to par. This one by the airport in Jax, however, still checking all the boxes! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff at check in (who actually accommodated my room request!) Sparking clean top to bottom. And as comfortable as you expect Marriott to be. The beds, linens, amenities, always top tier!'

'I rarely give 5 star reviews but this place definitely deserves it! Very clean and well stocked rooms that includes a kitchen with the basic kitchen necessities. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was well stocked. There is a really good restaurant right across the street and Walmart is 5 minutes down the road. The hotel also offers grocery delivery to stock the kitchen for longer stays although I don't know if there is a fee for this as I didn't use it. I will definitely be staying...

'This was our first time here, location is very conveniently close to shopping, restaurants and even the carnival port for cruisers. We stayed the night before our cruise for May16. Check in/out was east ave quick. I don’t remember the guys name who checked us in but he has great customer service. 'Clean room and bathroom, but the bed was broken🙄'

'Had a horrible experience and found dried blood on bed covers and other parts of room. Along with mold on bottom of curtains. No shower as described. A/C literally took over 12 hours to cool room. Breakfast was barely edible and they didnt even have real orange juice, tang was their go to. They did give me a refund for my second night after fighting with them through expedia. Would not recommend to anyone. Spend the extra $10 and get a better room at a better facility.'
