  • Villa Amis is a modern take on a traditional home located in a serene upscale neighborhood surrounded by trees. The kitchen and dining rooms have everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. The living room is chic and comfortable with a smart TV. The large finished basement offers a second living area with a 65" smart TV, and office space. Villa Amis features three spacious bedrooms including a convenient first floor bedroom with a queen bed, and the second floor has a master with a king bed and another with two XL twin beds (join them to make a king). It has two full bathrooms, one on each floor. And Villa Amis is pet friendly. Consider it for a long-term stay.

Family Reunion trip

Landlord was easy to communicate with and property was ideally located near family and event venues, not to mention proximity to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay

Had some family get together for a holiday weekend and it was such a nice home to stay in. It is as pictured, furniture and beds are comfortable. A few small things could be better and better stocked kitchen and that feedback has been given and they were very receptive to the feedback. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location and Overall Place to Stay

The location of this house is perfect. It's in a nice neighborhood but right down the street from the city area with tons of restaurants and shopping. The house itself was very clean, easy to check in and had essentials for cooking. I would absolutely book this rental again if I am back in the area.

Perfect for our needs

Patricia was a wonderful host. The house was in a great location for us and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. Really appreciate the nice touches like water in the fridge, paper products and Dove chocolate squares waiting for us.

Great House!

This house is in a fantastic location! It's roomy and comfortable and incredibly clean. The upstairs shower with all the wall jets was amazing! Patricia was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Fabulous stay!

Villa Amis is a beautiful and spacious home that made our visit with nearby family convenient and most enjoyable. Owner/host Patricia was attentive and very responsive to a few questions when we checked in. The open layout and comfy furnishings & decor are inviting. It’s a gem! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this elegant VRBO!

Great location and spacious home.

This home was in a great location, the hidden driveway was hard to find at first but it was a nice secluded driveway away from the streets. The house was very spacious, enough for our family that for the weekend we stayed we didn't even use the funished basement. Only thing was that some of the doors were sticky so hard to open/close and the downstairs bathroom did not lock. I would go back.

Wonderful place to stay with family

We rented this house to celebrate Christmas with my family and it was great. Spacious, beautiful, comfy furniture, it was perfect. Patricia was super helpful and checked in with me several times to make sure everything was going well. We got a ton of snow while we were there, and they were on the snow removal. The kitchen was a wonderful place to cook, nice appliances. Great coffee/tea center. Only thing that was missing were some decent kitchen tools. There were some basics but there weren't any measuring cups or measuring spoons and the wine opener was really cheap and hard to use. (That’s being super knitpicky) The area is beautiful and there was ample parking. It was quiet and lovely. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful place

Rented this for a reunion weekend with three dear friends that came in from across the country, and it was a great choice. I was worried because of the proximity of the road, but we didn't hear traffic at all. The house was sparkling clean and had lots of room; a first floor bedroom was a great option. It's a very comfortable, spacious place with spots for gathering but also places to spread out if you want. There were some unfortunate issues with the a/c and the dishwasher, but the host was working on those and was very clear and incredibly responsive in communicating. She had also been super helpful before our arrival with questions I had -- very patient and kind. The area has nearby restaurants ranging from casual to more upscale, and it's not far from various things to do. We mostly stayed "home" and yakked, but also went for walks at nearby Cranbrook, went to a farmer's market, walked to Starbucks, and walked around the neighborhood (to burn off the snacking calories). I would come back here without hesitation.

Mixed Experience with a Few Highlights.

I recently rented this property as part of a summer road trip with my family. Starting with the positives. First and foremost, the owner of the property was fantastic when it came to communication. They even went the extra mile by calling me directly to discuss an issue we had encountered. They promptly arranged for a repair person to address our concerns before our departure. This level of responsiveness and dedication was truly commendable. Additionally, the house itself was spacious, providing more than enough room for our family of 4 with 2 large TVs in the living room and basement. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The peaceful neighborhood was conveniently located close to plenty of restaurants. Another highlight was the updated bathrooms, with the upstairs shower being particularly impressive. Now, the negatives. One significant issue we faced was with the A/C which emitted a loud random squeal that woke us up in the middle of the night on our 1st night. Despite the owner's diligent efforts to get it fixed the problem persisted, sleep was an issue. Additionally, being an older house, the upstairs floors and stairs squeaked loudly, which was especially noticeable since the rooms were relatively plain. It felt like the sound traveled more in the large, empty spaces. TVs would’ve been nice to help distract from the noisy floors. Lastly, while the overall cleanliness of the house was satisfactory, the garage floor hadn't been cleaned in months it seemed.

Amazing property

This property matched almost every bit of our needs. Having a ground floor bedroom with a full bathroom, was extremely convenient for my elderly parents. The bathroom was a bit small, with a tub, but manageable considering my Mother uses a walker. A walk in shower would have been best, but we understand the difference. The AC was not working properly, but a simple text with the owner and it was repaired the next day. Being the 2 hottest days this year didn't help, but since we live close, we made adjustments. I still would have liked it cooler upstairs. This rental was needed for my elderly parents, as my daughter was getting married and we were busy with setting up the 2 days of events for a traditional Indian wedding and making last minute adjustments, running back and forth from our home to this house. Property is extreme clean and new looking, kitchen does not have a fan for when cooking, so we had to open the windows. Kitchen TV was not working properly and there was no pods for dishwasher. A proper pre-check should be done before each renter. We loved the cookware and available extras in the kitchen. Amazing extra large dining table with a couple of sliding chairs for the elderly parents. Upstairs King bed, was very comfortable to sleep in! Thank you for hosting us, would definitely recommend this home to anyone.
