Came out west for a concert at Red Rocks. Property is perfect for a couple looking to be near the venue and explore the surrounding areas. Quiet, clean, conveniently located.
Perfect location for our concert at Red Rocks and seeing the surrounding area. As some reviews mentioned, we could hear some noise from the house's occupants in the upper level but it wasn't often and wasn't loud at all, what you might experience in some hotel rooms. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
We loved staying here, it was so close to Red Rocks, Golden (which was so fun to explore!) the bed was comfy, the shower stayed hot the whole time. So easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Would stay again. Thanks!!
Great location, and well appointed however there is no thermostat control. It was set to 73 which was 65 in the downstairs apartment. A small space heater was provided and I was able to borrow a larger one. Also, because there is a window a/c unit, the window does not close and lock. (As a single female traveler, this made me a little uneasy). I would stay again- albeit in warmer months!
Firstly, when we arrived in Denver we texted the owner several times about early check in with no response. When we arrived at check in time we had still received no instructions on how to access the property. We nicknamed this property Dungeons and Dragons and broom closet because thatâs what
We came from the East Coast for a mini vacay - toured some sights in the beautiful state and capped off the stay with seeing our favorite band at nearby Red Rocks. The unit was perfect for our needs.
Basement apartment located in quiet neighbor hood with easy access to many local attractions. Owner was good about getting check-in process to us in advance, replying to questions and provided information about local attractions and restaurants. Comfy bed which was appreciated after day of exploring. Kitchen had all the basics.
This was a great location in the Denver area. Close to the mountains and quaint small towns yet close to all the activities of the big city. This place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and responsive.
I want to compliment the ways this property was excellent, and the ways it could improve or not be the right rental for your needs.
If you are going to a concert at Red Rocks, this place has an outstanding location.
If you like to hike, run, or mountain bike, the Green Mountain Park is just down the street and is outstanding for views of Denver and Red Rocks (and friendly outdoor enthusiasts).
The location is terrific and situates you close to so much hiking and great towns to visit like Morrison and Golden.
One way we found it to be challenging was the tenants/family living in the house (not the owners). They were very nice so no issue there. They had small children that you could hear running and screaming. Nothing too constant, but just loud and not fun to deal with when you're on vacation. I love kids, but there was no sound proofing and you could hear everything.
I didn't love parking on the street but that was just less convenient than parking in the large driveway.
There was no way to control the temperature in the apartment. However, the tenants had the cooling on that was adequate for us, but I just like to control my own comfort with heating and cooling.
Finally, the place was not ready/had not been prepared/cleaned when we arrived. Not fun when traveling across the country. I will say that it was remedied immediately/within 2 hours and I appreciate the responsiveness of the owner/property manager.
Description is not accurate. We stayed in lower level of a split foyer home WHERE ANOTHER FAMILY STSYED UPSTAIRS.
We didnât feel safe by staying in home with strangers. No lock on interior door for us to lock. We entered through garage. Also we heard this family the whole time which was annoying.
Location was great.
I wouldnât stay here again because I was under impression this property was rented to just me not 2 families.
This little apartment was super cute and comfy. The bed was amazing!!! It had just the right amenities that you would need like coffee, shampoo those little things help. The manager was very easy to get a hold of so don't hesitate if you have a question. All in all, it was a great stay!!!
Located close to the activities I was planning: Red Rocks (very close), hiking (St. Mary's Glacier and Idaho Springs, and virtually anything in the Rockies). Good-sized basement apartment for 1 or 2 people with interesting electric circuitry but well equipped, clean and quiet.
Located really close to all the 0laces we visited. Red Rocks Amp was a $20.00 Lyft. White water rafting 30 minutes, train ride 40 minutes. Great hiking trails in area. Used the place to rest and relax between adventures. Bed was not a king, but very comfortable. Loved the area! Property had everything you could want for a restful stay! Super clean!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely apartment that is very close to Red Rocks, which was a blessing for us. Very clean and had everything we needed.
Cozy weekend getaway as close as you can possibly get to Red Rocks! Well stocked, comfortable home away from home. Street Parking was incredibly accommodating, the idyllic scene is set as lovely neighbors & passerbys stroll by for morning/afternoon/evening walks. And speaking of strolls, close to all of the beautiful outdoors ColoRADo has to offer. Highly recommend this little getaway to anyone looking for a place near Red Rocks, and a perfect little home base between all the adventures & exploring your heart can possibly handle.
