Spacious Talkeetna home on Ruth Glacier Avenue

Looking for a fully furnished, comfortable house that can sleep 10? This 2-story home has a master bedroom on the main floor with a king bed. On the main floor you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry closet and a bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms each with queen beds, two bonus rooms that have two twin beds each and a bathroom servicing them. There is a covered deck that hosts a propane grill, couches, tables and chairs for your outdoor relaxation surrounded by a grass yard. Lots of parking in the driveway. We are located just off the Talkeetna Spur road. We are 4 miles from the Parks Highway Junction and 10 miles from Talkeetna's town site. We are directly across from the bike path that connects the Parks Highway with the Talkeetna townsite.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. It was perfect for our group of 8. Beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen was very well equipped. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the covered deck and having a cook-out to take advantage of the great weather we had during our stay.

This is a very nice property. Super clean and new and very good experience. The only downside of the place is the road that is a block away. You can hear cars drive by every so often but in the evening things quiet down as the cars subside. I would highly recommend this place. April created a very high quality experience and was easy to chat with.

Very welcoming communication prior to stay and exceptional, clean, comfortable accommodations for our 3-gen family of 9. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio bookending our busy days at touring destinations. Absolutely the BEST

April is definitely a top host. She has furnished this home with beautiful furniture, art, and everything you might need for a wonderful Talkeetna area experience. Anything we asked her about before or during our stay was promptly answered. Our family of 10 included my husband and I (master) our single son (upstairs br) married son (upstairs br) and our married son’s family who occupied the bonus area also on the second floor. The bonus area with a total of 4 twin beds and a crib is connected by the stairwell with curtains separating the 2 rooms. Their twins could see & hear mom and dad if needed and there was a pack&play for the baby. It was easy for us to make the bathrooms serve all our needs since the master bath could be accessed from the bedroom or the kitchen hall. The grounds are beautiful and there is ample parking.

The house is absolutely beautiful!! We took an Alaskan cruise with our children and then visited Denali National Park and stayed at the home for 2 nights. The house has anything one would need, April has thought of everything. Even had a pizza pan for us to reheat our pizza we had at one of the local restaurants. Make sure you visit the small but cute town of Talkeetna! Highly recommend this home if you are visiting the area....beautiful!

Great time staying here with 8 of us! Style of the house is interesting on the inside, almost an old school vibe, and the outdoor patio/grill is super relaxing. One of the best spots you'll find for a large group that is close to Denali National Park. Right near downtown Talkeetna as well, which was quaint and cool!

Wonderful Home, Great Location

We stayed in this wonderfully equipped, modern home in the center of Alaska's activities. We flew in and out of Anchorage so the stay just a while out was perfect to visit so many interesting sites. April was very friendly and communicative. I highly recommend this property!

Home Away From Home

This home is clean, comfortable, and in a lovely spot of Talkeetna. There were many items stocked for our convenience and local markets & eateries are just minutes away. Communication with the owner was easy and response was quick. Even in an unexpected power outage, April took the time to make sure we were comfortable and essentials were provided for.
