Terrific Del Mar property!
This two bedroom two bath property is beautifully located so that we can walk to the beach every day! Everything has been updated. There are plenty of chairs and beach items for use. We will be back!

Great Condo steps from beach
We really enjoyed this condo. Beds were comfy, surrounding felt safe, neighborhood was quiet, kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils and everything was very clean. Location was so great. You cross the road and are less than a block from the beach entrance. Even with the entrance straight across being closed, it was such a short walk to get to the sand. The only thing to note-bring your own beach towels and blanket (wagon, buckets and some chairs are provided) and the off leash dog area is right down the beach. Most owners were respectful and kept dogs leashed until the off leash area, but not all. Thought this was something to note. Great if you love dogs or are traveling with dogs, not so great if you aren’t a fan of dogs. We would definitely return to this condo next time we visit the area. Thank you!

We've stayed here several times and it is our go-to in Del Mar. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach, is well stocked and cared for, and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and has easy access to some great restaurants. Dan is great to deal with.

Terrific location for access to beach and Del Mar Race Track. Plenty of nearby restaurants and stores, too. Dan was a pleasure to work with and very attentive to our needs. Had a small plumbing issue and he handled it promptly. Condo was well maintained and updated, with nice dishware and pots and pans, as well as beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels. Very nice!

The Perfect Getaway
The grounds are well-maintained and the condo was immaculate! The location was ideal for our purposes. We wanted to be close to the San Diego County Fair. It was 3 minutes away. The day we checked in, we found a lovely rooftop restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. The condo is stocked with everything anyone could need. We brought our own 1-cup Keurig, but discovered that there was already one there in a cupboard! The beach is one short block away. We hope to stay again in the future, but for longer than 2 nights!

Great getaway in DelMar.
The property owners were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Its only a block to the beach & a wagon, chairs, towels etc.. were included. Dog beach to the north, people beach to the south. I LOVED watching the happy dogs! The apartment is very nice, especially the king bed and the electric, sliding recliners. Everything you need is o ly a short walk or drive away! The elevator was unexpected but truly appreciated!

perfect size & location rental for 4
perfect size condo for 4 adults. master bedroom bed was very comfortable, and large with tons of closet space . so nice to have washer and dryer in the unit. cute kitchen with tons of plates and pots and pans to use when not eating out. short , one street over from beach and really cute dog beach. short drive to beautiful restaurants along the water...like Jakes & Poseiden and the village of Del Mar. the owner responded very well to my inquiries via email or text. my only" complaint" was that the shower in master bedroom never got really hot. although my son said the other shower in hall area did get hot. overall, very nice rental.

The unit is spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. I would definitely stay here again. There is no heat except for space heaters, but once we figured out the space heaters we were very comfortable.

Perfect getaway!
We’ve stayed at many VRBO & other rentals and this place by far is the best! Extremely clean and location is perfect! We enjoyed our morning walk to the beach less than 5 minutes away! Everything was very thought out with this condo. Very nice upgrades on the interior. The only downside was that the floor was dirty. I think that's more reflective on the cleaning service than the actual condo. Would definitely recommend!!

Terrific rental in great location
We loved staying here. The unit is exactly as pictured, possibly even nicer. Very homey without feeling as if in someone else’s home. Had everything we needed, including for the beach. Internet worked fine for duration. Great location to get around San Diego (about 20 min away), Del Mar (within 10 min drive to stores and restaurants), and beach (less than 5 min walk). Beach was beautiful and not overcrowded. Very relaxed, safe, and friendly area. Check in, check out, and working with the host we’re very easy, pleasant, and convenient. Only suggestion for someone staying here is don’t get a large vehicle as parking can be tight. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

The place is well maintained and fully stocked with supplies. The owner is incredibly responsive, generous, and seemed lovely. My only issue was we did not have Internet access. The owner tried to resolve the issue remotely, but couldn't.

Everything you need for a stay at Del Mar beach
This condo had everything we needed for our holiday stay by the beach. Location (you are right across from the entrance to the beach and walkable to shops etc) ease of getting in and out, great coffee maker, comfortable beds and stocked with everything in the kitchen and laundry room that you might need during your stay. Condo was also very clean. The only con was that the wifi never worked our whole stay so bring your own devices that have cell service. We would stay here again.

Gem across from one of the best beaches
We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! It was stocked with everything you would need and slept 4 adults comfortably. We had 2 kids with us and they slept good on the blow up mattress. The location is amazing, a short 2 minute walk to one of the best beaches in San Diego County. We loved that there were boogy boards, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cart to bring it all available to use. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Del Mar!!

In desperate need of some TLC
I really wanted to like this place but upon arrival I had to wipe down the kitchen counters which were not very clean. Someone's used contact lens was on the coffee table so I wiped down the whole place. Clearly that had not been done very well. The dryer had all the bath towels in it so I had to fold and distribute towels to the bathrooms. The beach towels were folded and damp on top of the dryer. Hmm.... I decided to rewash those. On top of that there was a lot of sand on the floor of the laundry room and on the beach toys and the windows and screens are downright filthy. This place is in an excellent location and that saved the day. Aside from that, it is tired and worn. I don't think this place has received much attention in the recent years. The kitchen is stocked oddly. 4 sets of salt and pepper shakers (all empty) 3 sets of measuring spoons all missing the tablespoon. A very gross and rusty splatter shield and other useless kitchen supplies but no griddle. Almost like it was stocked according to what was found at yard sales. My compliments to the photographer they hired for the on line pictures! It's too bad because the location has a lot of potential.

We had a wonderful time and loved being a block away from the ocean. The unit was great, and the kitchen was really well stocked. Only two issues were the internet (too slow to stream and TV channels require internet connection) and a finicky deadbolt slot cover. Great place for a beach getaway and responsive hosts near Del Mar.

Fantastic for families
We traveled with 2 adults and 2 teenagers and had a blast. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living room had super comfortable electric reclining couches, and the master bed was amazing!!! It was a quick 5 min walk to the ocean and conveniently located for sightseeing in San Diego and La Jolla.

Great Condo, Great Location
The rental process was very easy. Check in and check out was a breeze. There was only one little hiccup, which was the broken dryer that we didn’t find out about until after we had already washed clothes. Luckily there is a coin op dryer on site so we were able to dry our clothes before leaving. Just a note, the bed in the second bedroom is very uncomfortable and there is only one working outlet in that room. The kitchen has everything you need if you’re going to cook, and everything works great! We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much, Dan!
