Cabanes à Damascus

« Mike and Debs were super friendly and welcoming! The hut is clean and comfortable with phone chargers and heating. There are several properties on the same land including an RV and cottage. There are also 2 neighboring huts sharing the same campfire and bathroom, but it is not cluttered and there was no clashing with neighbors. If you’re from out of town, ask Mike for restaurant recommendations! Their dogs are also so sweet and make the cutest mascots! »

« From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Mike and Deb have poured their hearts into this property. The care, love, and attention they have given every detail—from the beautifully maintained grounds to the incredible cabin itself—can be felt instantly. The setting is peaceful, remote, and absolutely stunning. The cabin has everything you could possibly need, yet it’s the character that makes it unforgettable. The décor is fun, unique, and full of personality (yes, there’s even a...

« The cabin was very cute and had everything we needed for our trip. The property was beautiful and the creek in the backyard was perfect for our teenager to fish and our young son to walk across to go find crawfish. The only thing I would mention is if you’re traveling as a couple the beds are full beds so they can be a bit of a squeeze. « The location and view are amazing. Truly beautiful. The endless firewood and materials to be able to make the fires and sauna hot was appreciated. In the kitchen, there is an ant problem. Had to kill a bunch. Some areas of the home were clean and some weren’t. Bugs left on window sills and spider webs in corners. Not sure when it was last vacuumed (that’s what it seemed like.) We enjoyed the stay with a few things that I had wished were a little more tidy especially for the price. »

« We had such a dreamy and relaxing stay here! Elga puts so much thought and care into taking care of her guests. Every single detail is taken care of and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The outdoor space is gorgeous - while we came on a rainy weekend, the campfire looked so cozy. And we had the best sleep of our lives! There is ample space for a small group and every bed is super comfy. There is an adorable downtown area just 15 minutes away. The scenery all around was...
