First, the parking here is horrible. You can either pay $25 a day for valet or $22 a day for a parking garage. This parking garage is located behind the hotel. There is absolutely zero parking in front of the hotel for you to unload or anything. It is all valet and if you park there to unload you are blocking valet and while they told us we could park there for a few minutes, they didn't seem happy about it. So, we didn't bother them with that and parked a block behind the hotel to go check in.
Desk staff was amazing. They were amazing the whole time.
We check in and then go to the parking garage. We drive a Chevy trail boss. The parking area for a vehicle this height was limited to about 10 spaces which were all full of tiny vehicles that could have parked on the next level where the larger vehicles couldn't fit. We were forced to either park in a handicapped spot or a tow away zone. Luckily, I think they saw we had no other choice for a parking spot and we didn't get ticketed. Thank goodness because we had already paid our $50 for parking in this garage ($22 a night plus fees). Hindsight, we would have used valet.
Now to the hotel. After inconveniently hauling our two days worth of luggage from the back of the hotel to the front because goodness forbid they put an entrance to the hotel in the back of the hotel for the parking garage-we made it inside. We relax in our room and then decide to clean up before we head out for a night on the town. No hot water. BEWARE!
