'We had an amazing stay. It is a beautiful old home and is walking distance to most parts of the old Lijiang Town. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending things do and places to go. There great opportunities for us to mix around with the other guests and staff during the breakfast time to know more about the local community. I would strongly recommend this place if you like to stay in a cozy and homely place. '

'The photos on the website looked pretty and the room was nice with lovely views. it said in the details it was 1 minute walk to Erhai Lake whereas it was actually a drive up a steep hill and then 60 steps down to the hotel and another 30 stairs to get down to the room. Very little choice of food for breakfast and limited selection for evening meal and nothing else close by. The hotel were messaging before our stay biut were not particularly welcoming or helpful seeming more interested in playing...
