« We had a great time at the lake cottage. Everything was as listed and in good condition. We were looking for a quiet place on a lake and that is exactly what we got. We really loved the added bonus of the little boat and trolling motor. We were able to get around the entire lake on a single battery charge. We made sure to bring a paddle just in case. « Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

« Right on the water for fishing and boating. Kayaks, small fishing boat and paddle boat provided. Great fishing. Close to downtown Mio to go shopping and out to eat. Close to the river to go rafting. »

« Nicely decorated and clean. Check in and departure was a breeze with a door code given to you prior to arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you needed to cook with and plenty of towels available for both kitchen/bath. Thankful for the AC during our stay when the temps were in the 90's. Shane responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The sunsets were an added bonus to our stay. Would definitely recommend. »

« Very nice property just remember it's 50 steps down to the lake wasn't a problem for me but my wife could only do it a few times. Smokey's bar and grill right down the road. 2. Mi great place for dinner or cocktails makes things easy and fun! »

« Amazing property and location. Has everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay. We were 2 families total of 9 with kids ranging from 10-17 and they had a great time. The manager is super helpful and responsive. They had a cute gift basket with needed items upon arrival. And all the water items you would need. The towns hear by are so cute and if you plan to fish get the night crawlers from Mug and Jug and you will catch a ton of fish! Thanks for such an amazing time. »

« Marilyn and Jim couldn’t have been better. Communication was great, check-in couldn’t have been easier. The cottage was spotless. The beach area was a big hit. This is a sandy bottom lake which is great for water clarity and if you don’t like squishy/muddy lake bottoms. Sunsets right over the lake were amazing. Could’t recommend it more, enjoy! »

« We had two large families stay here and found the property to be very clean, well stocked, and as advertised. There is no air conditioning in this home, so it got very hot! But, we knew that from the listing and packed a few extra fans which I would recommend. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Overall, a great stay. »
