« Room was clean with a modern bathroom and comfortable.
We didn't spend time in the hotel bar or restaurant but did have a drink outside where there were some tables for diners. Service was fine, but when we got up to leave the next morning the reception and bar area were all locked up (8:30am). In the end I had to call the hotel to find out how to check out and was told to just leave the key in the room and go. This wasn't really an issue for us, but it would have been better to be told of...

« This hotel, which could be a nice place to spend one or several days in Brandon:
1. There is no reception desk or anyone to attend your visit, in spite of having booked in and paid for one double bedroom last Wednesday. There is a written notice in a paper asking that in case of an emergency the visitor call two different numbers. None of them replied or returned the call.
2. After having tried to get someone at least on the phone, we decided to go out and look for another hotel. In front of the...

« My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. The bar has two tellies now, and I enjoyed watching the end of an ODI (Sri Lanka won), and then some Happy Valley with mein hosts.
I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...

« This was the perfect place to stay for a special event at nearby Wymondham College.
I was warmly (well, it was during the heatwave!) and cheerfully greeted by Tracey.
My room was clean, well-prepared and provided me with all the facilities I required.
It was extremely competitively priced.
My thanks to the staff concerned for their part in a really memorable weekend. »
