'Get together, birthday celebration'

'Comfortable and welcoming home. Our second stay at this property and will be back. Easy walk to beach, ocean pool, cafe and bowls club.'

'This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. 'Very happy with accommodation and location.'

'An older house that suited us with a dog. We did not require modern facilities and liked the old beach house feel. The original booking was the flat which was too small and offered no relaxing feel. So very grateful that we could immediately up grade to the house.'

'Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!'

'The property Banyandah is metres from what is a very busy road. We had no idea that there would be noisy traffic day and night passing right outside of the lounge and bedroom window . It ruined our holiday as we just couldn't sleep for the disturbance . It was sad as the holiday was to celebrate my 75th birthday. I feel that we ought to have been made aware of this situation at the time of booking but nothing on the Stayz site made mention of this. It was the worst holiday I can...

'Such a beautiful location. We didn't have to go anywhere. Beach right in front and the house had everything. Was quite surprised by the full kitchen pantry. Also, loaded with books, games and toys. Kids absolutely loved it. They didn't want to leave! Wished we had a few more days. Time passed by too quickly.'

'We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks...

'Fantastic house & location'

'The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!'

'Lounge had spider webs on it, ants everywhere. AC didn’t blow cool air was a very hot weekend. TV upstairs didn’t work, no screens on windows upstairs. filthy light fitting, AC was black with dust. We checked out next day. Had to find a hotel. Very costly weekend. I’m still waiting on compensation Booked in Feb now mid April. Elders agency do not answer my emails or return my calls.'

'Our stay in this property with our puppies was our first holiday with our 2 mini Dachshunds. They enjoyed the dog friendly beach that was close by and number 9 was fenced in a quiet street. Loved our stay and will book again.'

'Upon arrival we were greeted with an inviting bungalow, an amazing breakfast hamper, the table already set, a bottle of Port and a friendly welcome message from our hosts. We immediately felt at home. We went on to explore the waterfall, took in the beautiful surroundings and made good use of the game room with a few games of pool and darts before lighting the fire to cosy up for the night. Loved every second of it and we'll definitely be back.'

'We stayed there for new year and we paid a lot and what we got a dirty pool and the gas finished while we making food for the kids and we had to wait till second day midday to get this sorted'
