Funchal.Zelf ben ik licht gehandicapt, maar het ging heel goed.Het enige wat ik aan kan geven was dat de lift telkens tussen tweeverdiepingen zit.je moet altijd met je koffer de trap op of af.'

'The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right at the ocean front with excellent food, coffee in walking distance. There is paid parking close by butbwe weee able to park free in the hotel parking lot. The lot is small so we may have been lucky.'

'After a 13 hour trip, we arrived at a place that was overbooked. An alternative hotel was offered 3 km up the hills, so clearly not a 'walk to the beach' anymore. Hotel staff was OK, but young. Manager on the phone did not talk to us, but to the girl instead. We were offered dinner as a compensation, but we had to stay elsewhere. Note: we were not hungry and had other dinner plans for the next night... No financial compensation offered, but only free dinner at the hotel that we could not stay...

'Clean room was very spacious( even for 3), and there was cheap overnight parking nearby ~ 8-10min walk. The washing machine and kitchen utilities were definitely a plus. Would stay again'

'One of the top hotels I have ever stayed. The service was nothing less than exceptional. The Reserve was the high end room in this hotel and it was worth every penny. We felt like royalty. From the greeting on the airport tarmac to the wonderful checkin. The housekeeping staff was so amazing. We have really never had this level of perfection in any other place we have stayed.
