Thank you so much for posting a review Christopher. We are really sorry that you found some aspects of your stay to be disappointing. As a family resort we are particularly busy at certain times such as the school holidays but there are other times when the hotel is quieter. Due to the age of the building we do not have air conditioning in our guest bedrooms and although refurbishment is completed on a rolling basis throughout the hotel such a large project does take some time to complete. We do hope that we will have the opportunity of welcoming you back in the future.

Thank you very much for posting a review Richard. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some aspects of our stay and have shared your feedback on the food with our Executive Chef. There is a charge for the Victorian Baths due to the more exclusive nature of the facilities but our main leisure pool is available for our guests and does include a whirlpool, sauna and steam room. We do hope that you will feel able to visit us at some point in the future in spite of your disappointment on this occasion.
