« Je suis venue dans cet hôtel pour 1 nuit est je n’ai pas du tout appréciée…. Attention dans les chambres il y a de grandes fenêtres mais ne s’ouvrent pas complètement uniquement le haut vers l’extérieur… pas de Clim ! Avec cette chaleur Juste un petit ventilateur pour survivre… le spa est trop décevant… une piscine froide qui ne donne pas envie, un jacuzzi trop brûlant un sauna hyper petit ( il ne faut pas être claustrophobe ..) les vestiaires sales. Un conseil apporter bien vos claquettes.....

« A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. »

« I've stayed at The King's Head Hotel six times in the last two years. I always have a good visit. The rooms are nice and spacious. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast is wonderful and some really good curries in the evening. I'll definitely be going back. »

« Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time. »

« Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. »

« There were things I liked and didn’t like about this stay. The staff were really friendly, the drinks at the bar were cheap, the locals were really friendly and very social. The breakfast was good the next day and in hindsight, we should have had dinner here as it all looked home made and reasonably priced. The negatives were that the place itself is so rundown, I don’t know how it survives as we didn’t see any other guests. The whole place needs a makeover, including the outside area. The room...
